"All of it makes me want to dig my eyes out just to feel something other than hunger but there is nothing else beyond that." She murmured. 

 "There is, and you just gave voice to it. If you desire to be more than hunger, that is a desire in of itself." Lazarus explains. "Donn, would you help me in this time of trail?"

 Donn nods and steps besides Lazarus. Yuri looks ready to rip out someone's throat "I don't know how, that is what I mean. I try and I try to be more compassionate but there is a wall. That wall ruins everything."

 They nod in agreement. "The dracul's will, that which pulls us to do our dark progenitor's bidding. I know this sense well, although Blood Drinkers feel more apathy than malice." They reflect on this all before stating. "Being good is not a state you are, but a path you walk. Like all forms of movement, it must be practiced and honed. Isn't that right, Donn?"

 Donn nods "Most creatures are inherently good nor bad, they just are what they are until they choose a path to walk down. Except for angels and devils and demons, they are already set in their ways."

"I concur. You are not an Outsider, the alignment of material creatures are such that they choose. That does not means it is easy to choose, but choose one can nonetheless. Yuri, believe in yourself. Effort is half the battle."
