As the group goes upstairs to rest in their rooms, the leader stays behind.
He slumps over, losing any semblance of confidence or strength. The man orders a stiff drink and lays his face on the table.
Archon watches and chuckles.
"Please don't do that," comes the man's soft voice as he puts his hands on the sides of his helmet. "Your laughter grates."
"Then go away to another room" Archon said
He rubs his "faceplate." "Just who on earth do you think you are? I've traveled for miles on the backs of ghouls to get to relative safety. I'm not taking one extra step until I at least get myself a drink."
"The you must suffer as i laugh at your tiredness"
Anson kicks open the door, bleeding heavily. He holds his own severed arm, muttering to himself, His clean clothes now drenched dark red. It looks like his arm had been taken clean off of his shoulder. He plops down on the sofa, not caring if he bled on it and drank back a health potion.
Archon seems to be driving the knights body because the knight is currently grumping in the corner with a dark aura around him as he drinks back ale's.

Rusty comes up next to him.
Archon quietly acknowledges him with a grunt.
"Hello there stranger! You seem to have quite a thirst."
Archon grumbles "What do ya want." He asked, small pinpoint red eyes stare at him, while he holds up his helmeted head on his hand.
Rusty smiled. "Why, I simply just want to make a new friend."
The eyes seem to narrow a bit "Go talk to someone else then" he grumbled
"Why would I do that? My new friend is right here!" Rusty chuckled.
Archon grumbles again, it sounds like abyssal cursing if you listen closely enough.
Rusty comes over and puts an arm on Archon's shoulder, speaking the next sentence in abyssal. "Now, now, watch the language, it is not a good habit to curse a lot."
"Don't ever touch me" he hissed, he moved his shoulder away from Rusty's touch.
*Munches on cheese and bacon sandwich* *Im back*
Rusty moves with him, staying close. "Do you like toys, my dear knight?"
"No." he says plainly and keeps his eyes focused on Rusty.
"Oh, that's a shame. How about weapons, then?"
"I already carry the weapons i need" he said and looked over at his Flame-tongue greatsword and his Sunsword.
"Indeed. Then perhaps we may just talk, then."
"About what." He said
"Well, to begin with, your name." Rusty moved away and did a deep bow. "My name is Rusty, pleased to meet you, dear knight."
"Don't ever call me dear, thats step one." he said and sighed "My name is Archon... your lucky its me and not my counterpart."
"Oh, may I meet your counterpart?"
"He's worse then me..." he grumbled
"I very much doubt that." Rusty chuckled, smiling widely.
"fine then mate..." the eyes in the helmet seem to turn from a red to a soft glowing white. "Hello child of flesh" a soft voice says.
Rusty bowed again. "Please, call me Rusty. What is your name, dear counterpart?"
"Cathetel" He said "Made from the light of Pelor, a force of good to destroy evil"
Rusty straightened up, still smiling. "Oh, wonderful. Dear Archon said you would be worse, it is nice to see he was wrong."
Cathetal tilted his head and seemed to grin with white illuminating teeth "He can be quite.... dark..."
"I do not mind at all, underneath that darkness is a personality, after all."

"Silence. I've worked too hard to be disrespected by someone who has no idea of what they speak of. You say that I am 'tired.' I am at the human limit of exhaustion. The physical, anatomical limit of how far a living creature may go without rest. I have survived a city tearing itself apart and then reanimating as horrors beyond the limit that humans can perceive without dying of terror. I have led my flock to safety on the false pretense that I am invulnerable and holy. I don't feel like being bullied by a maggot that just crawled out of its own filth today, thank you."

A majority of those hit, except for the nine, the creature is looking more ragged as it roars at her, attacking with its claws likely one last time:
Attack: 11 Damage: 5
Attack: 21 Damage: 5
*Dang I'm stupid, I gotta reroll the damage of her last attack real quick, because I made it a d20 by accident* 4
Only the second one manages to hit her, scratching along her arm. She swings her axes on their chains, spinning like a tornado into three attacks. *The two-weapon thing again, to explain the third attack.*
18 to hit, 6 damage
26 to hit, 6 damage *+7 damage on a crit*
20 to hit, 7 damage
The last attack smashes the beasts head, knocking it to the ground as blood drips into the grass
Mirinn stands over it, breathing heavily. After she's calmed down and caught her breath, she walks around it and chops it's tail off for proof of elimination.
It twitches as she walks, but it definatly seems almost completely dead. As she removes it's tail, she gets the sense that she should keep her guard up still.
She freezes, holding the tail in her hand, and looking up and down at the length of the creature, trying to discern if it is still alive or not.
Perception: 19
This creature is dead, yes. She does still feel like she's being watched however
She carefully stands up, tucking the tail into her coat, then turns to start heading back to the tavern.
A couple of steps foward, she hears something thump into the ground, followed by the sound of bones snapping
She stops and slowly turns to the direction it comes from.
She sees what kinda looks like a more humanoid shape, currently tearing pieces off of the manticore's body and eating it
She pulls out her axes and gets back into a fighting stance.
