Phoenix breaks free and slaps him hard. "Jackson I swear to all the gods if you ever do this again I will.." he then trails off into a bunch of cursing.
Leo continues to watch.
Lore takes a deep breath and lays her head on the side of the bed.
He listens, holding his now stinging cheek. He sighs "I'm sorry.."
Edwin is working with fire, trying his best to find a solution that will work.
"Get some rest love."
"Sorry ain't gonna cut it right now." he says, furious.
"Fire...that could work..." he mumbles. He sticks his hand in Festus chest cavity.
"I can't. I'm to worried about you." She said quietly.
That anxious twitch comes back as Jack runs his right hand over his left arm, back and forth, as if to comfort himself. "Then what can I do.."
Edwin watches curiously.
"I promise...I'm ok now."
"Give me some space."
Leos whole body alights with fire. Festus's ruby eyes glow as he creaks.
"But what about later? Or after that?" She says, her voice breaking around the edges.
He steps back and nods, pulling up his hood. He gives a small wave and walks back towards the tavern.
Edwin grins, his eyes sparkling.
"No no. I'll be ok, I swear." he says, soothing her.
Leos fire shuts off as he stumbles backwards. Festus shuts down again as Leo passes out
Unsure of what to do with her emotions, she bites his forearm. "I'm not letting you go! I can't!"
"Ah (GP)" Edwin picks Leo up and sets him on a couch.

Leo, despite being bathed in flames, seems unharmed.

At the threshold of the inn, ten points of white light appear, turning into small flat circles that form a long hexagon with many lines inside of it, interconnecting each point. A line extends from the bottom point, and an eleventh light burns into existence. From that eleventh light, a humanoid with few features, an exterior resembling black velvet, and pale characters rimmed with lavender light all over its surface. The person enters calmly, clutching their face with their left hand, and finds a seat. White wisps of light undulate from the characters on its skin, and a low smoldering, sizzling sound surrounds them.

A thin man garbed in tattered rags covered in patches sits at the bar. Even the patches of his coat have patches. A floppy, worn hat conceals his face and he looks like he just came out of a hay field with all the straw clinging to his clothing. A voice speaks, "What a flashy entrance."
