“So which of my organs are you going to take, then?” Nai seems a lot more nonchalant now that she’s already been stabbed. “I still have my appendix, but I don’t imagine it’d be that good. Do only humanoids have appendices? ‘Cause if so it‘s gonna be hard to test that.”
He chuckles "We do." He said and removed a kidney, testing it on a scale. He nodded in approval. He started humming 'American Pie' to himself.
*MY DAD’S FAVORITE SONG WHYYYYY*
“C-can I go now? Do you know where I might get stitches? No wait I have healing magic. Never mind. Also if it’s just the organs that you value in your dishes and not humanoid flesh, you do know that most stock animal organs have better nutritional value than our own, right?”
Sharpened nails suddenly grow from their beds in his fingers as he grips her neck again "Watch what you say dear." He picks her up by the neck and throws her outside.
"My hope is that there will be significantly less of those people by the time I'm done here. Well, I don't think I'll ever be done, but I can get closer. Always room for improvement, you know."
"Always.." he said and tilted his head "Would you care for anything to eat? Seeing as I already have the ingredients I need?" He looks over at the corpse.
"Sure. I don't see why not. Can't exactly raise the dead, and from my point of view, the instant you choose a target there's no saving them."
William smiled softly. He began to hum 'American Pie' to himself, tapping his foot in the ground. He gathered the heart and lungs, walking over to a meat grinder and placing them in. Soon enough, he had ground meat in a pan.
He turned to a stove and turned that on, grabbing a large pan. Olive oil, spices, onions, and peppers appears to float out of cupboards and the icebox, set on the table by Unseen Servants.
Douxgras chuckles a bit. He begins taking out vials of rare spices and considering them. "No sacred beasts." He titters as if he had told an incredible joke.

“GAHHHH, dude, I still have a gaping chest wound!!” Nainai picks herself up, clearly very disturbed and horrified but attempting to mask it with humor. “Great, that’ll probably be infected… I should have gone to the east part of the woods to start making that printing press.” She walks gingerly back to the inn. The Red Plate Butcher will remain undiscovered.

"Expensive, for one. I could only get my hands on them because my parents trade in the stuff. Due to Thalacrose-induced 'evolution,' heavy enough doses have physical and psychoactive effects, usually very... unpleasant. When measured properly, they are delicious and perfectly safe. Needless to say, 'safe' isn't my style. I like to make my own mixes of these. Would you like to try one?"
