A small hooded figure crouches in the feild, trying to pet the undead cat
The cat hisses and jumps away, its empty eye socket glowing orange for a moment.
"hey it's okay. I think we have a lot in common. " they pull back the hood just enough for the cat to see a scarred-over place where an eye once was next to the figure's other pure-green eye
The cat calms slightly, but remains wary. She doesn’t run but doesn’t approach.
"pspspspspsps" she sticks out her bandaged hand
Though she looks a bit unimpressed, the cat approaches and rubs against her hand.
"there's a good cat. You've been through things, haven't you?"
<I only died once.>
"Same, kitty."

William is cutting up the body of a young man inside his kitchen, humming to himself.
Leto is enjoying the rain, barely rising her head from the waters of her pond.
A rotting animated cat saunters into the Red Plate. She seems at peace with the world.
“A little help, please?” Eito calls to her.
William watches it, eyes narrowed. "Dear, I can smell the rot on you. Me and you are similar but I cannot let you be in the kitchen. It's unsanitary."
The water nymph tilts her head. Her large black eyes blinks curiously.
The cat rubs against his leg regardless.
“Many pardons, ma’am, but I cannot find a way down from this roof without serious perforation, which could regard in a minor holy explosion.”
He sighs, picking it up. He sets it in the dining area, on top of the counter.
She blinks against just before dipping under the water. There is bubbling for a moment before she leaps out.
The cat bites at him, before pacing the length of the counter.
Eito remains perched in his position.
His eyes darken, teeth turning dangerous sharp behind his lips. He takes a deep breath, wrapping the wound in gauze and then putting on gloves. Can't contaminate the food after all.
She shakes herself off like a wet dog and flops her way over like a dead fish.
"Well..." He draws a large knife and cuts into the meat. Inside is black flesh, beautifully marbled with what looks almost like purple ice cream. It slowly begins to turn to regular colors.
He lets her. He metaphysically oozes with waves of evil. "You aren't very cautious, but I wouldn't expect a cat to be."
“WHOA! What deer did you get that off of?!”
<I am cautious. I chose to speak to you.> The cat is communicating telepathically.
"I bought it from a guy. It's just called a Greystag. Ironically, only the females are worth eating. The fat turns rainbow colors when cooked, but you need to cook it soon after cutting, or the ephemeral acids that give it its colors... well, they are ephemeral."
<Huh. I didn't think you were capable of direct communication. But you must get that a lot.>
