In the night, a mysterious cloaked figure walks towards the inn. They wear a red cloak with golden accents, and are carrying many trinkets with them. They go straight to the grounds, reach inside their cloak, and bring out a small case. they place it on the ground and open it. When they do, a small tent springs out, with a sign saying 'Kriggu's prediction of fortune' on it. The figure then goes inside the tent.
A person with a body made of black velvet with shining white runes upon their exterior and a pale halo approaches the tent, observing it.
It's a tent. A red cloth tent, like those you might find at a circus, but smaller.
“How curious…” they muse aloud. “Where might this ‘Kriggu’ be?”
A lizardfolk peers out of the tent. They wear a red cloak with gold accents. "Well? Are you coming in or not?"
“GAH!” They jump back, surprised. “Sure, I’m coming in.”
"Good." The lizardfolk disappears back inside the tent.
Eito follows closely, looking around in interest.
*gtg for a bit*
*Back*
The inside of the tent is stylised to look like the night sky, with outlined constellations twinkling like real stars. The lizardfolk, who Eito assumes to be Kriggu, sits at a table with a deep blue crystal ball on it, and offers Eito to sit down.

Heya everyone! I'm EJO, DDB's resident immortal Welsh medieval rat who appears randomly roughly once every week.
I'm not active much, but always up to talk when I am.
I'm known as CptKurn nearly everywhere but here.
Do not ask me about anything I like because I WILL waffle on for half an hour.

They sit, looking a bit skeptical. “So through what means shall you divine my fate? Because I happen to know a decent bit of divination magic myself.”

"Do you know the Scrying spell?" She asks, her hand hovering over the crystal ball. It lets off an odd, purple-blue glow. Here eyes seem gold in this light.

“Really? You’d sell from your own garden to a complete stranger? You’re a good person.”
<I see. Yes.> She looks around awkwardly.
"I try to be."
<Sorry, it was a bad joke...I am not humorous.>
“Hey, I was wondering, would you like to try something I prepared? It’s one of my best recipes!”
<No, it was fine. Cats are just very serious.>
"Sure why not."
<AH, alright then."
“Cool!” Mauric pulls out a bowl of incredibly clear soup, so clear that if it didn’t show your reflection you’d think the bowl was empty. “Glass consommé. The ingredients are very hard to get but it’s worth it!”
"Well, with this Crystal Ball of True seeing, I can. Now, what would you like to know about? has anything been bugging you?"
*Is there anything odd about Eito that one could see using Truesight?*
*the runes that are on their exterior seem to be carved into their skin, instead of being traced. This creature has nothing internally except pure light.*
“Hmmm… I’d like to know about the state of faith within this community. Is it struggling? Are the people of the town feeling dissatisfied with their religion?”

The Lizardfolk begins chanting in Draconic as they move their hand over the ball. a flash of golden light streaks into Eito's forehead. The chanting ends. The lizardfolk opens their eyes again. "The threads of thoughts are intertwined, and it seems mixed. Those who are unhappy keep their thoughts very secret, and by my code, I cannot intrude too deeply on anyone. But otherwise, it seems like more often than not, they are fairly happy."

Rory stumbles over, leaning against the doorframe as he opens it slightly, "I-I'm sorry, the shrines closed for.... maintenence"
