<a bumbling old wizard slams open the door nearly tripping over himself, scrolls, quils, and books spill out of a starred blue satchel, he pushes his round glasses up his face, and mutters to himself about some ancient rune he has been trying to decipher.>
*on the verge of a mental breakdown. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*
Theren is grumbling about a hangover as he drinks some coffee inside.
Phoenix is outside enjoying the cool air while reading.
Nick is on the roof of the tavern with his legs up to his chest.
Deep in the woods a small camp is being made. The remnants of the Empire's troopers are gathered there.
Caramel sits next to him. <I knew this would happen.>
"Shut it cat."
<I thought you said I wouldn’t be able to get under your skin. Or something like that.> Caramel surveys him smugly.
"You don't. It’s just your voice is driving daggers into my bleeding skull."
<You think this is bad? It’s telepathy. The gentlest contact your brain could ever have with another. But I could also destroy your mind by constantly sending you the sound of a mosquito right in your ear.>
"And for that I would banish you."
<Fair enough. Would you like any water?>

<No, it’s a common mistake. And insects definitely aren’t sentient. There’s no light behind those eyes. Spiders on the other hand… they just don’t care.>

William is opening up the Red Plate for the breakfast rush. He is humming as he cooks abyssal eggs in a pan. Unseen Servants work around him. The air smells of pancakes, crepes, fresh fruit, meat, bacon, and spices. People have already walked in, sitting down and chatting idly.
Vincent is outside with Antonio, doing laps around the tavern ground. He looks slightly tired but is smiling for the most part, Antonio cheers him on.
A ship has pulled into the port of the harbor near the tavern. The ship is printed with the name "Nuestra Señora de la Luz" on the side. A man steps off the bridge, dressed in a white cotton shirt with open buttons, a pair of black dress pants, a sweater tied around his waist, and black, ankle-heeled boots. A single gold earring glints in the sunlight. He carries a bag around his shoulder, a satchel of sorts. His skin is the color of honey, his eyes the color of chocolate. His hair is swept back and it and his beard are the color of raven's feathers.

*Anyway, I'm digging myself into a hole. I need a break.*
*Here's characters :>*
Fos is trying to pull herself out of the lake but her long tail is quite heavy and keeps her down a good bit.
Jack is sorting dried mushrooms, humming to himself as he works.
William is frying fillets of trout in a pan, throwing in bits of spices.
“Need a hand? Or two?” Eito stands on the bank.
”Hey Billy!” Mauric strolls through the kitchen door. “Did I make the cut?”
She grins a chipped tooth smile and nods.
"Don't call me Willy." He said, eyes narrowing "And you did well but there is something you have to try first." He walks over to an oven and pulls out a tray of what appears to be ground beef cooking.
“Alright then, take my hands.” Eito reaches out to her.
“Oh boy! Ambiguous meat!” Mauric reaches quickly for it, but then pulls back. “Oop, that’s hot. Sorry.”
She chirps and latches on but she is very very heavy, her tail making up most of it.
"Hm." He chuckles. (Investigation or Perception)
Strength check: 13

He is able to pick her up with some effort. She grins brightly, clapping.
It.. doesn't taste like any kind of meat he has had before.
“Do you die if your skin is too dry, or can you survive indefinitely out of water?”
*he has eaten the flesh of several kinds of humanoids before*
