He cautiously sits down, looking stressed. "I'm fine."
Two troopers pull out electric batons. "We will."
"Nick.. I can tell you're not.." he sounds worried, his Irish accent heavy "You don't have to tell me but I want to know what I can do to help you or make it better."

William is opening up the Red Plate for the breakfast rush. He is humming as he cooks abyssal eggs in a pan. Unseen Servants work around him. The air smells of pancakes, crepes, fresh fruit, meat, bacon, and spices. People have already walked in, sitting down and chatting idly.
Vincent is outside with Antonio, doing laps around the tavern ground. He looks slightly tired but is smiling for the most part, Antonio cheers him on.
A ship has pulled into the port of the harbor near the tavern. The ship is printed with the name "Nuestra Señora de la Luz" on the side. A man steps off the bridge, dressed in a white cotton shirt with open buttons, a pair of black dress pants, a sweater tied around his waist, and black, ankle-heeled boots. A single gold earring glints in the sunlight. He carries a bag around his shoulder, a satchel of sorts. His skin is the color of honey, his eyes the color of chocolate. His hair is swept back and it and his beard are the color of raven's feathers.
Mauric hides beside the kitchen door, attempting to eavesdrop. Stealth: 21
because the Unseen Servants are controlled by him and he simply needs to think about what they should do, the kitchen is quiet except for the noise of cooking and cleaning.
Throwing caution to the wind, Mauric enters. “Hey. I was tested, I ate the mystery meat. Did I pass? Do I get the job?”
William doesn't even look up from a pan of fried eggs and chorizo and chuckles lightly. "Sure," he says and nods his head to a stove next to him "We have a customer who wants a liver and chive frittata, get started on that. The liver is in the fridge and chives are in the produce bin."
“Got it.” Mauric grabs the necessary ingredients and begins preparation, falling into the flow of the process quickly.
William watches quietly before continuing and sliding past the doors to go deliver food to the customers.
