Sometime later: Lazarus returns with a knocked out wolf
"Im sorry my lovely animal" she said and laid her head against itsfur and bit in
Lazarus is unmoved. "Why do you care for it?"
"Its a living being" she said and licked her lips "It was born from a mother and father, it lived and felt like you and me"
"It is an animal. It has perished. It will harbor no ill will."
"I know" she said and held the body "I would like to bury it though"
"Sure." He says, looking round for a shovle. "What has happened to harm you so gerviously?"
"That gnoll over there is killing fey" she said "i cant stand for it"
"... Shall I intervene on your behalf?"
"No, i don't need you hurt either." she said "i must heal Zenix"
"Understood. What would you have me do then?"
"Stay besides me. You, Lazarus, are someone i connect to, whom i relate to. I could use someone like you to be beside me to bring vengeance upon those two"
The Warden looks at Yuri. "Your hypocrisy is revolting. My sibling told me of your... conversation with it, where you blustered and threatened like a spoiled child, simply because he wasn't your kind. And yet, when this hunter, who killed fey exclusively because they were hurting his loved ones, and I defend him when you team up on him, we are the evil, hypocrites? The logic of the fey is certainly interesting."
Zenix points his sword at him, "Bite your tongue or i'll tear it out. That 'hunter' is attempting racial genocide, and you say thats not bad?" Zenix says, "We care not that he isn't one of our kind. We care that he shows up to this place and begins hunting fey who had never met him, simply because he ran into a bad one in his life."
