“So, another godly possession. First Theren, then that one kid, now you. How many gods are there on this world anyway??” Thirteen says exasperatedly.
Damian shakes his head "This godly curse is from my world. Don't worry about it Thirteen, just don't tell anyone for me."
“I keep secrets well. However, I can’t help but be curious. What divinities occupy your world of origin?” He quickly pulls out his journal, flipping to the Celestial section.
“All the gods in most worlds. They all represent one aspect of existence each. Thank you for keeping secrets.” He holds his head, looking at the groove he made in the table.
“Ah. I seem to have been being insensitive.” He puts the journal away. “I’m not much of a healer, unfortunately. My forte is more about doing things once you’re already dead.”
“Of course, don’t worry about it. I assumed you wouldn’t turn me into a zombie.” He shakes his head until he’s fine “Really Thirteen, thank you.”
“The being departed on its own. As shall I.” He stands and vanishes into mist.
“Goodbye.” He waves him off and then falls unconscious, his head slamming against the table.
Ragnerious is back and radiating a new power beyond what he had before, he goes back to his job making food in the kitchen of the Inn.
Damian is sleeping at the table he was possessed in. Snoring loudly as his chest gives off a light crimson glow.
Ribriya, heading for the door, notices Damian and sighs. “Why is it that every time I come across you, you’re unconscious?”
He wakes up slowly, rubbing his head “Don’t worry. This time I was just possessed by a deity.” He gets up and stretches, his bones popping.
“WHAT?!?!”
He waves his hand with a smile that rests in his eyes as if it isn’t as issue “That happens sometimes, especially after I was reborn.”
“It’s starting to seem like everyone here has a complex, eldritch backstory and a ton of enemies from other worlds, and that’s not good.”
“Ah, mine is no big deal. It just results in the occasional possession or impossibly painful searing. Or my eyes begin to glow. No big.”
“THAT’S BIG! That’s incredibly big! You’re a vessel of a GOD!”
“Am I? Huh, I never thought of it that way. Not like I get god powers or anything. Anyway want to get a drink?”
“No, I’m currently busy. I just learned that a portal to the Abyss was opened in the local forest about three months ago, and I need to check for any demons that may have gotten through.”

I'll lay a white rose on the cold earth, knowing it that it has not claimed your soul.

“Cool I’ll come help, considering I have experience taking on abyssal portals, demons, and the like.” He gets up, slightly wobbly “I’m always happy to help out a friend, even if we aren’t having an adventure.”
