"Oh, darling Scotty! You don't need to pray! All you need is a little help from Mr. Sandman. Or, as it stands, Mr. Arometto." He pulls out a little piece of folded paper. "You've been dulled by flavor fatigue. Wanna taste something absolutely wild?"
Felix slowly turns his gaze to William. "The stars belong to us, and I refuse to leave any leftovers. Have you ever been to the Autumn Country, William? I'm doing great things there." He looks away. "People don't like great things these days."
"Drugs?" Scott raises a brow, tying back his already wild hair "I don't know about that... I already have issues with my mind.." He looks a little uneasy.
William's voice turns soft, even gentle, which is unusual "Felix, may I ask what you did?" He asks, a bit like a father with a child.
"Oh, these aren't drugs! These are natural herbal remedies, all dosed and prescribed based on your specific predicament! I'm something of an illegal pharmacist, and I love giving people the help they need. I went for decades screaming and sobbing in bed, wanting to die of my pain and grief, under-medicated and unloved. But I worked of the confidence and courage to make a wonderful little spice cocktail for myself, and I realized I could do the same for everyone else. C'mon, buddy. Don't you want a break from the butterflies? The sickness? The screams?"
"We found a spelljammer, William. I'm going to cook the sun. They won't even know until a few million years later when it starts to dim. It takes so long for light from the center to reach the earth, you know. The big flowers love my work. I'm their best friend. After the stars, we'll cook Ragnorra, then later the gods. And then we'll make the perfect meal together, and I'll show the world how good I am."
Scott looks at him, hesitant. He slowly reaches out, taking it. He has dug a hole so deep that can't even see the sunlight anymore from above and the dirt is closing in on him. This just seems like a tool in the moment to let him breathe.
William sits on the ground "You are good Felix, your work is immaculate. I do not think anyone could pass you, even me." He says softly.
Yuri wrings her hands, grumbling to herself. A day and a half of building a simple metal frame has somehow made her feel more tired than usual. She has an idea in mind for the cart that she wants to build but, now that she has a better idea of it, she is starting to doubt the energy source of solar will be enough for it.
"A feeling of darkness staining the area like poison."
Scott is standing in a field, staring up at the sky in a trance again. Butterflies crawl over his skin like parasites drinking his emotions like blood. He is dressed in his sleepwear but his feet are dirty, suggesting he's been here for a while. He grips the book in one hand, his nails digging into the leather cover.
"Suddenly... I'm running for my life."
William is sitting in his kitchen, on top of the counter much like a cat. He is flipping through his cookbook, thinking. Too many people have gotten a little too close for his liking, much like The Larry, Damian, and Detective Nash. It makes his skin itch that he might need to leave this all behind, but he refuses to be captured, he refuses to be persecuted. He taps his fingers across the book, his eyes closing.
Loriche is out foraging for firewood and sees Yuri’s contraption. She stares at it from a distance, very impressed.
Yuri paces back and forth, thinking
“Whatcha making?” She calls to Yuri.
"I am looking to build an energy-efficient mode of transportation for the townsfolk that won't impact the natural world." She said, tying back her long hair.
“Heh. Good luck.” Loriche walks over to her. “Any machine will have some kind of drawback in regards to nature.”
"I know, which is why I am going over each scenario." She said "I assumed solar would be best but now that I look at it more, it could cause more issues than good."

Cathan's dilated eyes smile. "Go on, dear. All for you. Half now, half later." The little package is divided into two segments, each filled with spices. "I'd recommend not snorting it raw. It's good on fruit and meat, though. Do be a dear and eat it before your anxiety gets the better of you. I've seen it happen too many times."
Felix leans against William. "...they hate me. They all hate me." He looks up. "William? I need a dentist."
