*If it’s not a hassle, I’d enjoy interacting with Stroth and your Fallout character whose name escapes me at the moment*
*Hancock and The Ghoul, otherwise known as Cooper.*
Stroth is dressed in a long black gownnwith spidery lace crawling up her arms and legs. She has her done up in a braided bun, pinned with black leaves. She looks beautiful for an scary woman.
Cooper is walking through the woods, humming to himself the time to "Devil's Price"
Riotan storms back to the Inn, livid, his scales beginning to grow back but flames erupting from his fists and feet as he walks. The grass behind him has his footprints singed into it.
Loriche is calmly sifting impurities out of a small vat of molten cobalt, and begins humming along, though slightly delayed so she can hear how the tune goes and repeat it.
She looks over, grinning. She slinks over, tilting her head to the side "And what has got you angry?" She asks.
He looks up, his hand acting on its own and pulling out his shotgun, eyes narrowed "Who they hell are ya?"
“That weasel guy. He stole a representation of my life force and if I make him mad he’ll crush it and try and kill me while I’m weakened.” He grumbles, adjusting his sari.
She holds up her hands, dropping her tongs and sieve. “Calm down pal! I’m just hanging around here. I don’t want to hurt you.”
Stroth blinks quietly, fixing her dress "Unfortunately.." she said "I would do something but he was able to rip me apart at the seams." She said, sighing "I am sorry.."
He grumbles, holstering it "Thou shalt get sidetracked by (GP) every time.." he rubs his temples "Ave you seen a fella round these parts, red jacket? Tricorner hat?"
“Well I’m getting just about sick of this guy! He thinks he can order us around because he can cook souls or whatever, but we shouldn’t stand for it! We just need to find someone who he’s never faced before. I saw he had some kind of book, and he’s probably written down all kinds of stuff about us already. But if it’s someone he’s never encountered, we might have a fighting chance.”
“Nnnnnnnnope. But what’s that thing you’ve got there? Some kinda staff?”
"There is a way to get him to leave but it requires a... Gods intervention. I know for a fact he worships the gods of hospitality. Perhaps, if we killed them off, we could get him to leave.' she chuckles.
"No." He grumbles "It's a customized shotgun, made 'er myself."
Riotan smirks. “That could work well. But we need more information. Maybe we could steal his bestiary thing.”
“What’s a shotgun.”
"Perhaps.. maybe we could use that one cook to use against him but it is unlikely as they are close."
"Weapon kid." He grumbles
“I could impersonate him! My shapechanging is pretty accurate if I do say so myself.” He shakes his head as if trying to ward off gnats, and all of his scales fall onto the floor, revealing a completely perfect replica of Stroth Blackwood underneath. “Think I could pull it off?”
“I’m in my 760s, and I know that.” She gestures to the innumerable tools, armor pieces, and implements of war surrounding her campsite.
She grins, clapping her hands "Beautiful! It could work!"
He closes his book. "Aw, I like monstrosities. They're so cool and taste amazing. So what are they? They can't be fiends, since you tamed them, and they don't look much like aberrations or undead. That means I don't have any idea what they are, basically."
She chuckles "Isn't that the fun though? Keeps you guessing, strives for you to reach that information." She leans forward from where she sits.
"True, but I'm a hands-on learner. I killed and ate my first pet. Well, I was trying to farm giant spiders, not keep them as pets, but in the eyes of my family and neighbors, it counts. They were against me keeping the spiders in the first place. Said they were monsters. But they would have died on their own. I gave them long and happy lives, and slaughtered them mercifully, then respected them in death. I love monsters."
“Why thank you!” Riotan responds cheerfully, his scales shivering back up onto his body and restoring his original form. “But I can’t jump into this. I’ll need to get as much information as possible from him. What’s the name of this man?”
“Because I don’t know how it works! Do you whack people with it? If so, why does it have ‘shot’ in the name??”

"Then you have a good heart in theory but I sense that you don't really do you? Rotting from the inside out?" She asks sympathically.

"William. He used to be a creature called a Wendigo but he recently got changed back to mortal by Felix. Perhaps taking him hostage and learning all we can?"
He clicks the safety off, turning it to a tree, and firing a shot at it.

"I don't really introspect much, since I've spent so much time fighting monsters and gazing into the abyss. So maybe. I don't know. I try to focus on helping others. All these demons and stuff... it's awful. They're like, all category 4-5, and no one is helping me."

“Good idea. If we’re lucky, he’ll be far weaker than Felix. Did you want to get him, or should I? Or should we go together, just to be safe?”
Loriche looks impressed. “Dang. That’s neat. Though it makes things really easy… almost too easy. Though I punch lightning through people, so I guess I can’t really talk.”

"Most hunters I meet don't care. But maybe I only attract a bad breed. I don't know. You have a point, and it seems obvious when you say it, but a lot of monster slayers don't think about subsistence or the environment. They just want to collect their gold. I guess hunter isn't the proper term for them. I guess you could call them butchers, but that would be an insult to butchers. I don't want to say murderer, because they certainly aren't doing anything that bad... I guess I just think they should be kinder. Kindness takes a lot of work, but even animals can learn it, and what are we if we can't learn from the natural world? Ack, I'm rambling again." He sighs. "Hey, you hungry?"
Kinsley nods, "i've never had owl bear before."
"They're better than you'd expect. I'm going to make a lasagna first. Then what I like to call meat-lover's ratatouille. This is a large carcass, so expect big portions."
"Hm..." Kinsley is deep in thought for a second, "OH YEAH! I came here to mostly try to recruit you by the way. We can discuss it as we eat if you're at all interested in joining a guild."
"Alright, Sure. Also, you run the tavern, right? I've been setting up blessings on it. I hope you don't mind. No wards, but buffs."
"Oh that's completely fine. Please do as you will, as long as it isnt destroying the tavern itself."

"Oh honey.. you won't be able to help anyone, now or before. I am sorry. That's not how your story goes, at least for now." She says, giving him a sympathetic look.
“Why thank you!” Riotan responds cheerfully, his scales shivering back up onto his body and restoring his original form. “But I can’t jump into this. I’ll need to get as much information as possible from him. What’s the name of this man?”

"I can get him. Of he is human now, he won't be an issue. I'll drag him back here, you rip his mind apart and find out everything you need to know." She grins madly, wrapping her arms around his neck and laughing.
He groans "So you haven't seen this guy? If not, goodbye!" He turns on heel

Mauric enters the tavern and sees Saphuno. He walks over, smiling. “Oh hey! Nice to finally meet you. Damian’s told me a lot about you. I’m Mauric Tabrahain.”
Klei slinks by, attempting to not draw any attention. It seems like he thinks someone is watching him.

"yes, i've heard of you too. You're the man who my fiancee wants with us when I give birth...." She says, shuddering lightly "it's nice to meet you too."
Quickly, she stuffs the cash in her pocket, suspicious.
“He… what?” Mauric looks confused. “That’s news to me. But you know how Damian can get. I have no desire to intrude on anything like that.”
Klei takes out his sword, moving to rotate the ring on the hilt and go invisible again.
