“Why thank you!” Riotan responds cheerfully, his scales shivering back up onto his body and restoring his original form. “But I can’t jump into this. I’ll need to get as much information as possible from him. What’s the name of this man?”
“Because I don’t know how it works! Do you whack people with it? If so, why does it have ‘shot’ in the name??”
"William. He used to be a creature called a Wendigo but he recently got changed back to mortal by Felix. Perhaps taking him hostage and learning all we can?"
He clicks the safety off, turning it to a tree, and firing a shot at it.
“Good idea. If we’re lucky, he’ll be far weaker than Felix. Did you want to get him, or should I? Or should we go together, just to be safe?”
Loriche looks impressed. “Dang. That’s neat. Though it makes things really easy… almost too easy. Though I punch lightning through people, so I guess I can’t really talk.”
"I can get him. Of he is human now, he won't be an issue. I'll drag him back here, you rip his mind apart and find out everything you need to know." She grins madly, wrapping her arms around his neck and laughing.
He groans "So you haven't seen this guy? If not, goodbye!" He turns on heel
He’s surprised, but kind of awkwardly hugs her back nonetheless. “Th-thanks…”
“Hey man, I’ll try and find you if I see him!” She calls after him. “No need to be like that!”
"Most welcome." She said and pulled out her cane "I'll go catch him now." She said, grinning.
After an hour or two She hears hushed talking from the woods
"What does that even mean? Is that a... threat?" He seems more confused than angry or afraid.
"No dear, simply rethink your actions and what they mean." She said, petting one of the birds.
"I'd really rather not. I know I'm a bad person. I know my actions hurt people. Everyone does. But I try to make an effort. I bring comfort to people who need it. You don't have the right to tell me that everything I've done, and everything I will do, is worthless."
"But I do dear but I would not call it worthless, just... Meaningless because you are a bad person. Rubbing a stain doesn't get rid of it."
“Why thank you!” Riotan responds cheerfully, his scales shivering back up onto his body and restoring his original form. “But I can’t jump into this. I’ll need to get as much information as possible from him. What’s the name of this man?”

Now casting the cobalt alloy into sheets, she goes quiet and attempts to listen.

No news is good news…
I'll lay a white rose on the cold earth, knowing it that it has not claimed your soul.
Reese is counting a wad of cash while sitting at a table in the corner
Mauric enters the tavern and sees Saphuno. He walks over, smiling. “Oh hey! Nice to finally meet you. Damian’s told me a lot about you. I’m Mauric Tabrahain.”
Klei slinks by, attempting to not draw any attention. It seems like he thinks someone is watching him.
"yes, i've heard of you too. You're the man who my fiancee wants with us when I give birth...." She says, shuddering lightly "it's nice to meet you too."
Quickly, she stuffs the cash in her pocket, suspicious.
“He… what?” Mauric looks confused. “That’s news to me. But you know how Damian can get. I have no desire to intrude on anything like that.”
Klei takes out his sword, moving to rotate the ring on the hilt and go invisible again.
"good, cause it wasn't gonna happen. Can I pour you a drink with your money?"
Reese pounces on Klei, as she has done previously, before he can turn the ring.
“Oh, uh, sure.” He takes out eight silver pieces and passes them to her.
Klei falls sideways, the sword clattering onto the floor and coming to a rest several feet from his splayed-out hand. “Reese? I… I haven’t seen you in a while.” He whispers, puzzled and slightly injured.

She hears someone talking about taking a rowboat to the shore to steal a cargo of iron ingots.
"I'd really rather not. I know I'm a bad person. I know my actions hurt people. Everyone does. But I try to make an effort. I bring comfort to people who need it. You don't have the right to tell me that everything I've done, and everything I will do, is worthless."

No. Every sin, every evil thing in the universe is your fault, and your fault exclusively. If you didn't exist, evil wouldn't have a vessel to work through. You created something so existentially vile that you yourself cannot stand it. And you know what? I don't blame you, because I love every little thing you deigned to create. I've snuggled with hellhounds for warmth and partied with enchanted pumpkins, then ate both of them with all the respect and love in my heart. You may have done great things, but you are a sickening, insipid ball of rot. You are so impossibly incurious I have no words. Even if you had love for me, for anything in this universe, it would be meaningless. I am your fault. Felix quietly breathes. His type changes to Undead. He pricks his finger, and a single drop of blood falls to the ground, reversing the life energy of all the grass within 60ft, killing it instantly by turning any healing it could possibly receive into damage, including its natural regenerative abilities.
