There's a bright flash outside the inn, and a royally dressed elf that looks rather like a Drow appears. His silver-blue hair is braided and comes down just past his shoulder blades, and his eyes are a deep, vibrant royal blue. He wears scale mail that seems to glow and be made from some sort of whitish-blue crystal. He is also wearing an ornate crown made out of Mithral and Gold, set with sapphires, emeralds, and rubies, and forged to look like vines and branches with various flowers. His flowing cloak is set off one shoulder and has a beautiful royal blue to forest green gradient to it. A longbow is slung over his right shoulder carved from blackened ash wood, while a rapier made of the same crystal as his armor is sheathed on his hip with an ornate shortsword to complement it on his left.
The human walks up behind him, knocking a knuckle against the armor, "Hey shiny boy, blocking the door."
He laughs, and turns, letting him pass. "This place is a little different from the last tavern and inn I was staying in." He rests his hands casually on his swords, a mithral and gold wedding band set with small emeralds visible on his finger.
"Yeah, i'd bet. Does the missus know you're here?' He asks as he passes
He smiles. "She, and our little one. Yes, they know. I think they may even be joining me later, but I'm not sure yet."
"Yeah, her and your... daughter was it?" He nods, "Lucky to have that good a home life."
He narrows his eyes a little. "I never said our child was a girl, but yes, you're right."
He smirks slightly, "Lucky guess eh?" he says, but his tone sounds like it was anything but.
His eyes flash. Indeed. His voice echoes in the human's mind, the tone even, and just a little cold.
"oh, telepathy. Didn't know people around her used that." He nods

*You should still recognize my first character from the End of the World, don't ya?*
He chuckles, and walks into the tavern, resting his hands casually on the hilts of his swords. There's a ring on his finger; mithral and gold set with small emeralds. It's a wedding ring. He continues walking inside, making his way to a table along one of the walls, where he sits, and orders a glass of Feywine.
The Baron walks to their side. "Feywine? I don't believe I've had that before."
He smiles faintly. "It's known to have rather strong effects on non-fey and non-elves, but it's very good, if you know and have access to the right stock."
The Baron smiles similarly. "How about we make a little trade? Nearly anything from the feywild is impossible to get where I come from. How about you get me a drink of Feywine, and I give you a bottle of Moilian wine?"
He seems mildly intrigued. "I can do you one better. I happen to have a bottle of one of the better vintages from my homeworld, as well as a bottle of Desmianian Fire Whiskey." He reaches into a pocket in his cloak and pulls out each bottle as he's talking.
"Hmm. Shame that I didn't bring such a selection. I simply saved a case of Moilian wine for my vacation. You have to admit, having a case of fine wine from the negative energy plane is an excellent conversation starter, yes?"

"It may not be the 'best' stuff by any means, but it's amazing in every aspect. You can actually feel the chill in your very core. Very few experiences have the same intensity in the shadowfell, leading to the rarity. I've managed to get an entire case. But then, being a literal Baron with a reputation for eating vampires makes it easy to get rare items."

"Hmm. Shame that I didn't bring such a selection. I simply saved a case of Moilian wine for my vacation. You have to admit, having a case of fine wine from the negative energy plane is an excellent conversation starter, yes?"
He nods, smiling. "Indeed it is."
He chuckles. "And being a crown prince and the chosen of a goddess makes it easy as well." He pushes the two bottles over to the Baron.
The Baron's expression changes. It looks like he might have raised his eyebrows, but the dim lighting and the wide-brimmed hat make it hard to tell. "Well, then. In another world, I would be bowing, but I think we're far enough apart that we don't really belong to the same kind of court. It's nice to meet another noble, though, despite how little we have in common when it comes to our job descriptions and home planes."
He chuckles, and nods. "Indeed. But please, take the bottles. I've got more."
*I gotta sign off for the night now. Bye!*
"Oh. Of course!" He pulls a bottle of a semi-viscous, black fluid from his cloak and puts it on the bar. "Heres the Moilian wine, as per the trade."
He smiles. Not common, but it has been known to happen. One of the perks of having spent so much time in the Feywild.
"Yes, cause the fey are known for their psychic powers. Well, a few are." He shrugs
He shrugs, and chuckles. "Fair."
"So what would bring someone like you here?"
He smiles. "Exploration. Escape." He shrugs. "Maybe a bit of both."
"Tired of your luxurious life?" he asks sarcastically.
He snorts. "More all the responsibilities that go with my station."
"Well i'm sure ruling a kingdom is tough." He nods,

Xan narrows his eyes "Ew"

Two things are infinite: The universe, and human stupidity; and I'm not so sure about the universe.
Scifi horror is quite the trip :) Comics and a story

*I just realized two things. Number one: I'm having a positive experience with a fey. That has literally never happened, ever. Number two: I'm playing as a noble talking to another noble about wine tasting. That's awesome.*
