*I don't know what is wrong with my existence but as it becomes dark my allergies decide to kick in full force and make me feel ill as possible.*

*I sure hope so. I've recently discovered that I'm a hypochondriac, but usally only when I actually want to do something. What I mean is that I get psychosomatic illnesses like allergies and stomachaches whenever I get excited or anxious for something. It is possibly the dumbest, most annoying thing about myself, because I am desperate to play DND and you're like, my best friend.*
Since winter is soon to approach the tavern, with it brings a new type of monster. Years ago, deep within Icewind Dale, a man who was convicted of a crime he did not commit was sentenced to ten years out in a town to serve as a guidesman for ungrateful travelers. He got lost in the mid of a blizzard and was greeted by Auriel who offered him a deal, worship her or die, he refuse to bend a knee to her and was left to die in the cold. He died but his rage towards those who falsely imprisoned him lit his heart once more with a fire. He rose as a spirit who appears solid in all ways except when he touched, anyone who touches him begins to freeze.*

*Neat! Did you see my posts about Unmanageable Mary and The Man in the Turk?*
*Hmmm... hope no one dies horribly in the process... Also, I wanna run two Spectres past you. I'm not sure what their powers should be yet, but I wanted them to have suitably tragic backstories.*
*Unmanageable Mary Byron was a housewife in the 1950s. She always wanted a big family, but she despised her abusive husband to the point that she didn't think he deserved the "wonder" of having a "living, breathing thing to love." During a moment of "female hysteria," she killed him and went on a vandalism spree with his signed baseball bat. She was caught by the police, sent to the Asylum, and had a curse placed on her to lobotomize the freedom out of her. She died of malnutrition when the orderlies forgot to feed her. She wasn't found for over a month, despite the other patients constantly complaining about the smell and the agitated Spectre begging for their food. To this day, she remains in public service, permanently indentured and sealed into the young Ricky Zalistar's mechanical right arm for her crimes.*
*Azul Kasparov, The Man in the Turk, was a grandmaster chess player and legendary prankster. He was a genius, and found harmless jokes to be a fun way to let out his creative energy. he never used the same opening twice, and was just as skilled as he was unpredictable. One day, after beating an inventor at chess, said inventor showed him his machine: the Turk, a Cursed machine that required someone inside to operate it, and he said it would be really funny if it beat a bunch of grandmasters and everyone thought it was just a super powerful AI. The Inventor always locked the machine so no one could pry it open and find that his "invention" was a fraud. To the inventor, this was no joke. It was his life's work. At one point, when Azul said he wanted to deliver the "punchline" after the show, the Inventor started a fire in the building and left Azul to die inside, only to return later to destroy the body. The Spectre was bound to the machine, the left arm of which now attached to Ricky Zalistar's left shoulder, with The Man in the Turk still trapped inside.*
*Ooh, those are both suitably spooky! I'd say that Mary's power could be something like being able to sense and target the weaker points of an enemy's defenses, and Azul's power I could see as providing tactical insight and brief glimpses of the immediate future to 'stay two moves ahead of your opponent'. These are just initial ideas, though, so they aren't super refined.*
*I spent a bit of time refining these in my head, and they both have merit. I'm thinking they may both be Leader-Type Spectres, meaning they rally weaker spirits around them.*
*My concept for Mary: Mary is a Ghoul, meaning she has a physical form when unleashed and has great physical abilities, such as regeneration. Besides summoning her baseball bat, Mary has a similar power to Charlie, but much weaker. She can basically eat and "reincarnate" Spectres around her, animating objects and distorting them, Beetlejuice-style. Her curse is that she has to lead from the front, which doesn't seem like that bad of a weakness until you realize that she was treated like a monster because of unleashing her violent tendencies. Thanks to this curse, she has to do those violent acts yet again just to use her Stigmorta. She resembles an emaciated, disheveled woman with a 1950s haircut. She dresses up frequently.*
*My concept for Azula (autocorrect kept removing the "A" at the end and I didn't notice): Azula is a Poltergeist, meaning he has no physical form but can still manipulate objects. His main power, from a combat standpoint, is pyrokinesis. He can't create fire, but he can control it. In addition, he can see through flames, and even see the future through them, allowing him to predict his opponents and attack weak points. His curse is that his perception of the world is pitch black, and can only be lit by flirelight. He resembles a flaming mechanical man made of pistons, wires, and brass. Any "suit" has been burned off, leaving him nothing but the withered skeleton of the Turk.*
*Hmmm... hope no one dies horribly in the process... Also, I wanna run two Spectres past you. I'm not sure what their powers should be yet, but I wanted them to have suitably tragic backstories.*
