you could just make the story like after the downfall of the old spider guild you vowed to build it back up big and stronger than before and to make the spider guild known again
*Maybe. I'd still need to make sure that if I do bring it back, it's at a time where I can continually tend to it. The Spider Guild remains the biggest project on the forums I've ever maintained, and I want to be ready if I do bring it back so it doesn't wither away.*

A house has seemed to form in the woods. It is in the style of an old 1990's Ranch home complete with white siding, white plastic shutter, and a slate roof. The lawn is mowed nicely and the driveway... Well the driveway has seen better days. It is cracked, grass growing from those cracks like tendrils of green. Aside from that, the rest of the house is cared for well, not a spot of dirt.
The Crusader has stumbled his way through the woods, found this house by pure fortune, or in his case, pure misfortune. Taking off his helmet and sword off his back, feeling a kind of familiarity from the house, resting all his weapons outside. He moves his sweat drenched hair from his face, walking inside the home. (If you want to know what his guilt is, it's his son and wife, who he abandoned when he became a Crusader to stave off starvation.)
Inside of the house, it looks pretty normal. The furniture looks clean. There is a bedroom down the hall alongside a bathroom, the kitchen and living room are one, and there is an staircase the descends down to a basement.
He sits down on the couch, looking to the middle distance, the armor heavy on his shoulders as he begins to take if off piece by piece. He gets up after all the armor is gone, and walks to the bathroom, turning it on to take a shower.
He finds the water is warm. Slowly but surely, as he steps into it, he begins to hear voices as he shuts the curtain. A little boy and woman.. that sound like his family.
For a moment he stops, just standing in the shower, staring at the ground. ‘It’s been so long since I’ve heard them, but I had to leave…I…’ He shakes away the thought ‘No it couldn’t be them, they just live here, they just sound similar.’ He finishes his shower, toweling off and getting dressed before going out.
He see's them, standing there at the couch. The TV is on but it's playing just static but they laugh as if watching a show. A boy is with them, dressed in insane asylum styled pajamas, the whitish-blue color. He is about 18 or 19 with lanky limbs, fluffy brown hair, and scarred skin.
He stops as he rounds the corner and sees them, seeing the TV static with slight confusion, but having a feeling that he has gone somewhere he should not have been. He felt compelled to come here, as if this is what the universe wanted from him. He makes a slight noise, moving near the couch.
The boy alone turns to face him, hands in the pockets "Ah.. thought you might be done soon but I didn't want to peep in."
When he hears the voice of his son, he grabs the couch tightly, trying to prevent any of reaction on his face, feeling absolutely shattered from the voice “Sorry… I… thought this house was empty.”
The teen looks over, tilting his head "As far as guilty feelings go.. this is pretty out there." He comments, standing up and walking over.
He can’t make eye contact with the child, looking to the group or the static on the TV “What do you mean? Guilty feelings? I was j-just taking a shower.”
"Leaving your wife and kid behind... You know you left them for dead right?" He says, running a hand through his hair.
His eyes begin to fill to tears at his stares at his own feet, his fist tightening even more “How- how could you have known that? I did what I had to do.”
"It's not me... Well kinda.. it's the house actually." He shrugs, walking past him.
They are mostly obscured by the shadows of the room. However, what he can see besides her glowing lights in the place of eyes is the brim of her black sun hat, and a faint metallic glimmer from her claws.
"What's your name?"
"I don't have name but I sure feel sorry for you.." the room seems to shift and move as if The Traitor is getting dizzy. The feel any emotions they've repressed begin to boil upwards. The thing they are most guilty of forms in front of them.
Piercing eyes form from the dark corners of the room, all staring at the Traitor. The Seer's voice laughs from some unknown place. "I have everything I need to bring this world to ruin... and it's all because of you. This is all your fault, you know- I wouldn't even be here if you had only realized sooner!"
Traitor is visibly shaking at the illusion- she can tell there's something off about it, but it still strikes at some deep part of their being. "Wha- What's happening? Are you doing this?"
"It's not me, it's this house. The house where I died.." he says.
"Can... can you leave this place? Or are you stuck here somehow?"
"I can't, which is unfortunate honestly."
"Is there any way I can help? This place doesn't seem like the most pleasant spot to be trapped in forever."
"I don't need help." He mutters as the hallucinations begin to get worse for the Traitor.
The illusion of the Seer appears behind the Traitor, staring right at her. Traitor notices this, and in a moment of unthinking panic, whips around and claws at the hallucination- which, being a hallucination, isn't affected at all. For a few seconds, she tries to rip and tear through the mirage in a blind howling rage, leaving large claw marks in the walls of the basement, before re-realizing what's going on.
"Why... why is this happening?"

"Unfortunately, you can't. Just got to face the facts." He gestures to the walls of the basement "I did."
She looks over at the walls he gestured to. "How... how long have you been here?"
He shrugs "No idea... Uhhhh there was a sapling outside the house.. how big is it now?"
"...Well, has this house always been in the middle of a forest? Because I think there was a lot more than one tree outside- and a lot of them were full grown."
