Zenix is sitting in the trees, mask on as he stares at the tower. In one hand he has a scroll with an arcane lock stamped on it to prevent opening.
Vivian is confused about all the fighting that had taken place, but is still enjoying a late lunch
The chimera pretty much ignored everything, busy eating the corpse of some sort of beast from the forest
"Shame all this fighting happened. It sure makes a big mess." The strangely dressed man is standing under the tree, holding a cigar that looks old, but also looks like it's never been lit.
"Yes. A shame." He nods
He lets out a little sigh. "I really don't know what got into them. Either of them. I've never known the Baron to pick fights, and even if you are immortal, destroying your avatar feels like the least viable course of action."
"Yuri dislikes things that harm plants and animals. That eternal darkness was going to have harsh effects on the ecosystem if it was repeatedly set up." He sighs
"I understand that, and the fact that we didn't know if he was going to set it up again, but killing every living thing within 150 feet of yourself seems... extreme."
"He did summon two dragons to attack her, and considering it only killed her and some plants, i'd say theres justification when not even a gods power can kill him."
"Fair point. Richard Cadwallader, at your service." He holds out his hand, his arm reaching long enough to be where Zenix could shake it.
Zenix hesitantly shakes his hand, "Zenix."
Richard's handshake is firm, like the kind you would give at a job interview. "I'm not from here, if you couldn't tell. I'm from somewhere far, far away."
"I'm not from here either, but i have stayed here a while
"Maybe you could tell me how all this works, then. My world is... different on a fundamental level, you might say."
"Its an inn. Though the tower is new."
"That much is clear, but I was wondering where all these plants came from. They don't exactly have many plants where I'm from, and I'm interested as to where they come from."
"I would say that most grew naturally. Other may have been planted by yuri, kinsley, other people who care about this place."
"Hmm. I've always wanted plants in my home. Do you think anyone would mind if I took some from here?"
"No, they'll likely grow back."
"Amazing. Now, what do they do to the ground to make it all... grainy like that?"
"Do you mean the sand or just the dirt?"
"All of it."
"Well you see, a certain type of moss called lichen settled on the bare rock. This caused the rock to break down over time into dirt and sand. Then, when grass started growing, it used the nutrients in the dirt to stay alive."
He chuckles. "How bizarre! Now tell me, where did the creatures come from?"

"Ah! That is a major difference between your world and mine. In my world, the environment is so varied that you can move inches and be in an entirely different biome. I guess having euclidean geometry helps make the world more stable."

*May intro a few more, familiar characters from End of the world over the next few days, but here's my current actives:*
Iralias sits in the back of the main room, guitar sitting in a chair next to him, sipping on a glass of Feywine.
Phantom is sitting in the branches of one of the larger oaks along the edge of the forest.
Soldaer and Yazrin are interchangeable, and both open.
*Alright then. Continuing, roughly, where we were.*
He chuckles. "You can call me Phantom." He says with a slightly crooked, but friendly, smile.
"Alrighty, Phantom. I'm Azul." He looks at his hands, with an expression on his face, like he's remembering something. "You seem pretty... chill."
He chuckles, and gives a wry, and slightly sad, smile. "No... that was my wife... Although she still had a bit of a temper, especially when she was protecting our kids."

"I guess," zenix nods
"Now, is there anything you would like? I'm well versed in virtually all forms of arcana. It's simply your natural sciences that I have trouble with."
