The tiefling (Ghost, you'll know who she is) is sitting at a table, eating a steak with a Hellfire Bourbon next to her.
Iralias is sitting at his usual corner table, his guitar sitting in a chair next to him, and a second chair pulled close on his other side, as though he's expecting someone.

A hooded tiefling opens the door of the tavern. The only real way to tell is a horn peaking up out of a hood, and their tail draggin behind them. A sheathed rapier is hooked to their belt, a satchel slung over their shoulder
*Sorry, irl stuff popped up, lol*
She peers at the newcomer a bit curiously, as though trying to figure out who they are.
*Its chill*
*I legit cannot remember aovin's appearance tbh*
They look around, letting out a breath as they pull their hood down, its aovin cause i cannot describe good
*No worries, lmao. I just went back to the Tavernpedia for Ari's description.*
Her eyes go wide. "Aovin..." She mouths, before straight up yelling it, drawing some odd looks from the other patrons of the inn. "AOVIN!!" she's genuinely surprised, but happy he's here, if a bit confused.
He flinches as his name is yelled, looking around. As he spots her, he smiles slightly, though he looks different than when they last saw each other, "Hey Ari."
She smiles widely. "Get your butt over here, brother!" She says, obviously thrilled he's back.
He walks over to her, immedietly hugging her
She chuckles, and hugs him back, wrapping her wings around him. "I missed you, brother."
"T-thanks, i missed you too." He smiles, leaning into her
She looks at him, a little confused. "What's wrong, Aovin?" She asks, before taking a sip of her drink.
"Uh, its just been a while. You dissapeared, and i needed to go back to glasya."
She smiles sadly. "That it has. Sorry for vanishing on all of you. I can't ignore when Asmodeus calls, though."
"It uh... wasn't the easiest." He says thtough a very forced smile.
She frowns, obviously noticing that he's forcing things. "Aovin... stop hiding things from me..."

"I'm not hiding things..."

Its pretty noticable that although his horns are longer, one is bandaged back on. He's also pretty bruised in certain places, and a couple new scars
She shakes her head, frowning. "You're hiding things, brother. Your horn, the scars... Tell me. What is going on?"
"Its just n-normal life Ari." He replys
"Aovin..." She says, a hint of a warning and frustration lacing her tone. "Tell me. The truth, this time."
"I am. Its normal life in malbolge." he grimaces at her tone
She sighs, and shakes her head, obviously saddened. "You never wore those... battle wound before, brother... what happened? What happened to the little brother of mine who was more interested in studying than fighting?"
"I grew up for once," He says, crossing his arms. "I realised i couldn't rely on my family all the time," his tone is slightly laced with venom, which is something Ari had never heard from him before
She narrows her eyes, the fires that she usually reserves for those who anger her lighting behind them. "I never once abandoned you, or any of our family, Aovin. If I could, I would always be there for you, for all of us."
"But you aren't. You stick to your devil, and i stick with mine." He says through gritted teeth, "Its nothing personal Ari, its just what we were made for."
As the word devil is said, a letter seems to gravitate closer for a moment
Aovin picks it up
The outside says 'To the siblings of the Grave Worshipper, Pegasus Rider, and Coward'. Sounds as if Tabanvae had an enemy of some sort sending these
"But you aren't. You stick to your devil, and i stick with mine." He says through gritted teeth, "Its nothing personal Ari, its just what we were made for."
Her eyes narrow further, and her wings start smoldering a little. "Only because if we don't, our lives are forfeit, brother. And it's not what we were made to do; it's what mother and father sold us to do." Her tail lashes, cracking against the legs of her chair. She's obviously trying to control her temper still. She shakes her head, and downs the rest of her drink. "I'm going to go for a bit of a walk. I need to cool down a bit." She stands, her wings still smoldering and smoking, and starts walking towards the door.
"Do you honestly think that mom and dad would have had us for any reason other than to sell us to the devils? You can lie plenty to our younger siblings, but i'm not a dumb[gp] Ari." Aovin says, fists clenched, "They never loved us. They never cared for any of us."
She whirls on him, her eyes flashing. "That may be. I honestly don't know, brother. But what I do know is that I've always cared for you, for all of us. I'd do anything to be there for all of you."
"Anything except disobey daddy asmodeus." He mutters, turning away from her, "Do you know how many times i wished i could leave? To have a normal life instead of the one i was sold to?"
She snarls. "You think I didn't want to leave? I did, Aovin." She says, her eyes flashing dangerously, with almost the same intensity as when she would be fighting... fighting to protect him. "But I knew Asmodeus could teach me... help me become strong enough to lead and protect our family. I needed his help. I wish you could see that, Aovin." She says, before spinning away, flames slowly starting to form on her hands and arms. She storms through the cloud of letters, barely paying them any attention.
"Did you need his help more than we needed you?" he snarls back, "And how do you think you lead our family? Half of the others barely even respect you, mostly out of fear."

Hello. My name is Grondincal. I seek your cowardly brother, who likely has told you many lies. I seek your help in this endeavor, and Im willing to offer payment, and increased glory and possible promotion in the hells. You could be more respected there...
And if more motivation is needed, I can be transparent on every lie Tabanvae has ever told you. He fears you all. He serves the hypocritical gods, and I have evidence of this. If you wish to discuss, meet me as soon as you can. The faster we end his lies, the better the law of the infernal can make our world. You can find me by setting 2 mirrors across from each other and speaking my name.
Even if you do not wish to hear his lies or help in my task, I still take great interest in meeting you. Feel free to visit when you have a chance.

*Let's try a character that totally is not a composite of my favorite parts of failed characters with extra Darkwood added in.*
A man stumbles out of the woods. He wears a strange outfit, with a metal helmet and military garb, but a scarf and respirator covering most of his face and an old, tattered long coat over his body.
A monster rushes out of the forest, looking like a human corpse with the head and upper torso splitting open to form a massive maw. It jumps onto the man and starts tearing at him with its claws.
Rani frowns. "Hey! Buddy! Calm down!" He blasts the monster.

"Did you need his help more than we needed you?" he snarls back, "And how do you think you lead our family? Half of the others barely even respect you, mostly out of fear."

'To a likely servant of the hells,
-With regards, Grondincal'

She snarls something unintelligible, and keeps walking, shooting a jet of flame at one of the letters.
She hears the sound of glass hitting a wall as aovin flings a mug in anger before turning invisible, the sound of his footsteps on grass as he runs out in the direction of the forest

11. The weak swordsman clings to his instrument. It is better you have a sword, but death must lie under your fingernails, if need be. Learn death with your elbows, death with your knees, and death with your thumbs and fingertips. It is said death with the tongue is useful, but I find words too soft an instrument to smash a man’s skull.

The thing loses concentration, causing it to become visible.
It appears to be a small, red, horned creature, something like a large imp or a small, odd-looking tiefling. It has large, catlike yellow eyes, and dresses in what appears to be a blood-splattered waiter's uniform. It carries a large book with it.
"I-I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there!"

The thing that bumped into the imp-tiefling thing turns visible, and they see that it's a little imp (strange, there were two imps, kinda, that ran into each other). "Oh, no, that's my fault," it says in a raspy little voice, before flying over to a shadar-kai (Rani) who is sitting at a table. "Who are you?" Rani asks the newcomer.

The imp-thing calms down quickly. "My name is Carokas 'Sweet' Cruorsus. I am a chef, magician, bartender, and former hotel manager, and I have had about 300-odd years to perfect my skills." It sounds like they've said this exact thing before. "I can demonstrate, if you wish."
