Abi is sitting on the floor in the tavern library, eating sugar wafers. She is doodling pictures of so many cats that each one is begining to look similar to the last. She wears her fondant dress and licorice bows in her chocolate hair. Ants unfortunately crawl across her because she seems to attract them like the plague.
Samaritan out in the market purchasing some vegetables and fruits for the pantry of the restaurant. He is dressed in his normal clothing, his apron, chefs uniform, and his masks, just like every other day.
Thirteen has set up a necrotic aura to prevent ants from getting into his rare and valuable books as he researches the Dark Seldarine.
Rio is following him in the form of some random dude who kind of looks like David Byrne.
Abi looks up after the magic spell is cast, feel it's energy ripple through the area. "Hello! Thank you!" She chirps.
Samaritan snorts, like he is sniffing out something. He doesn't seem to glance around or even turn but he chuckles "Doing a mighty terrible job of following..."
Felix looks at it. "Haven't seen one of these before. It's like a tiny arcade cabinet."
"Ah, I also have a talent for the mechanical. Most would assume that since I'm an ogre I can't really use the fine tools, but I invented this!" He drops the cookstove-like device off his back, causing it to unfold into what looks like a robot. It hands Gideon an ornate kanabo inlaid with gold. "I also made my own adamantine armor!" He thumps his fist against his plate mail.
"Yeah, it's fun. I like that game where you're a snake and stuff." They said, chugging the can.
Arthur looks it over, his steely grey eyes assessing it queitly, before grinning happily "Well maintained and everything!" He nods, scratching his chin.
"Oh yeah, you get to eat a lot in that one. My favorite is the one with the vampire in the castle. You know, with the turkeys in the walls and stuff like that." He pulls some purple sodas out of his pack and offers one to them.
"I do my best." The boar beast grins. "After all, your equipment can only maintain you as much as you maintain it!"

They take some, ripping off the cap with their teeth. "Huh, never heard of that one." They shrug, drinking it back in a few gulps.
"But of course. It's a symbiotic relationship in all honesty." He nods "Only a fool argues with a sharp blade."

"Forgive the mess, I am trying to regain my sanity again."
"Well, then, how about some Froghemoth offal tempura, fermented purple worm venom, and some deconstructed black pudding with peaches and cream for dessert?"
"So you can ferment purple worm venom?! I've only managed to figure out wyvern venom fermentation recently, but everyone kept telling me purple worm venom was too potent to use in a culinary dish. Oh, now I have to try that! I'll take all that please!" He says as he starts pulling out his money. "I hope Arcadia currency is acceptable."
"We accept all currencies here. I had to be paid shiny pebbles once." He runs to the back again and comes back with the items he mentioned. "It takes the right cultures to make purple worm venom into something you can actually drink, and it's really hard to keep them from killing each other long enough for the result to be thin and palatable enough that you can drink it straight. Even then it's more of a syrup, so I cut it with carbonated water to make it into a sort of soda pop."
The tempura is on sticks, with the eyes on the grasper-like ends, the purple soda is in a drinking horn, and the pudding is crawling around the dish.

It's good, but the flavor is entirely unique. "Yeah, it's like, Castle Transylvania or something. I haven't really played a video game in like, months."
"Or a heavy club and enough armor to stop a tank." He chuckles.

"Oh, that's really good to know. I'll keep that in mind for when I next try to ferment some." He says as he sits down and looks at his plate and begins tasting it. "Hmm...this is incredible" He says as he pulls out a small notebook. As he eats, he is writing things down. The man's shadow is cast against the wall close by, dark and solid. As they man continues to eat, the arm of the shadow slowly rises out from the wall and tries to sneakily take one of the pieces of Froghemoth tempura.

The shadow takes it, giving a chirp in thanks as the head of the shadow emerges, followed by the body. The silhouette is nearly identical to the young man's, save for the demonic and glowing red eyes, and the horns being full and not sawed off. "Huh, you don't normally come out so quickly when we are in new places with strangers Nocs" The young man replies in surprise. "Can sense safely here....also hungry...." the voice of the shadow hisses out in a eerie but audible whisper.

"Indeed." He nods, grinning "A sword, a gun, a plate of armor, a massive tank, everything and anything."

"That would probably be wise, else he will keep stealing mine. He really likes tempura, or anything fried actually." the man says with a warm chuckle, not bothered by the shadow in the slightest. The shadow turns to the man, then at Felix before he reaches to the man's belt and takes the coin purse, pulling out money for the food. "Here...."
