“No one, no matter how hard they try will ever be a ‘good’ hero. The fact that you’re trying makes you good enough. Even I know that.” He says with a smile.
"Mn, I was never good. Not a good actor, not a good hero.." he sighs and stands up, rolling his neck "Which is why I have to do better."
“Ah the art of constant improvement, now that’s something I can get behind, fighting until I stand at the pinnacle of strength, leaving even the gods behind.”
He nods, wiggling happily "I was bored today so I thought I'd be productive!"
"This'll go on my nightstand. It looks great. I caught a big ol cow today, so steaks again tonight." She says, tucking the figure away in a side bag and returning to tend the food.
He claps his hands and nods, sitting down beside her.
"Hey, after dinner, do you wanna snuggle inside? it's still pretty cold out here, even with the fire."
He nods "It is December isn't it? Cold horribly." He shivers a bit and laughs.
"Mmm-hmm." She blasts out the fire with a wave, leaving the meat on the spit, glistening and caramelized. She cuts up and plates two big hunks, handing a plate to Alix.
Alix takes it, munching happily on it "Hey, I was thinking something..."
"Mmm, yeah?" She says, turning to him, smiling.
He turns a little red, his tail flicking back and forth.
"O-oh. D'you mean?..." She flushes, gesturing vaguely with her paws.
He nods slowly, bowing his head
"Of course! I-I mean, I do. Uhm, n-now?" She says, smiling, tail thrashing on the off beat of his.
"I-If you would like!" He said, grinning happily.
"Absolutely, hun." She says, finishing her food.
After that he picks her up bridal style and goes to his room, giggling
“No one, no matter how hard they try will ever be a ‘good’ hero. The fact that you’re trying makes you good enough. Even I know that.” He says with a smile.
"Mn, I was never good. Not a good actor, not a good hero.." he sighs and stands up, rolling his neck "Which is why I have to do better."
“Ah the art of constant improvement, now that’s something I can get behind, fighting until I stand at the pinnacle of strength, leaving even the gods behind.”
"Something of the sort I suppose." He laughs "Have you been here long?"
He cackles again, putting them down at their tent “That sounds like a challenge.”
She stands up, pointing to the Lord’s Rest Inn “I think that’s a tavern over there. And the food is good from what I hear.”
He mumbles at her, enjoying her presence as much as he can after drinking those, snuggle slightly.
He finishes the job “Oh, and did you know our toaster is waterproof? Says it on the back.” He puts the plates next to the sink.
"I know where all the major arteries are, don't try me." They disappear inside the tent
"But I don't have money, Schun Alta." She says, sighing. [Beautiful (Female) Human]
"I'm gonna eat you up, Tony. Lil cutie.." She says, hiccuping.
She cracks the plate she's drying, eye twitching. "Ex-f[GP]ing-scuse me? You did not."
He patiently waits outside, already having a smoke ready as he flips a hell portal coin.
“I’ve got money… if you want me to buy you something to eat.” She says, shifting in place.
He grumbles, putting his face into her fur, smiling as much as he can.
He steps back, holding up his hands “Wait, wait, don’t get mad, I regret it now. I shouldn’t have ever thought of it.”
They don't wait long, as he doesn't have much to move. "Hey." he says, walking out with one bag.
"Oh, okay. Wow, you're wiggly, like a little one, hehe." She chuckles, holding their head. "So... Now?"
"You better get into bed, man... you're trashed"
"What the hell is your problem? You have a wife, a kid, and a future son in law who all love you! I told you what would happen if you pulled something like this again. I just cant trust you anymore. I'm gonna have to get the front pack sling out, aren't I?"
He flips the coin, opening the portal “Welp we should get going.” He backflips inside.
She nods, beginning to walk towards the Lord’s Rest Inn, expecting them to follow.
“No… I can go all night… I’ve got endurance.” He says drunken, definitely not able to.
He holds his hands higher “I am so sorry, I won’t do it again, I promise, you don’t have to do anything, it won’t happen again. I swear.” He says, falling to his knees, hands together “Forgive me.”
"Geronimo..." he says weakly, walking in.
She follows alright, just at a different pace, and in a quadrupedal form.
"Right, and you're also pregnant." she sighs, picking him up.
"Not gonna work this time, Damian. I ought to put you in a padded cell, but now you're getting the backpack leash."
This time the fall seems to be longer, only by a few seconds, but longer.
She opens the door for them, ordering them something good to eat.
He looks drunkenly confused “I’m going to have a baby?!” He hugs them.
He lowers his head and hands in shame “I’m sorry, I deserve it.”

"Something of the sort I suppose." He laughs "Have you been here long?"
“I’ve been here a while but I wouldn’t say a long time, how about you?”
Geralt is nearby, because he can’t be too far from it because of the chain.
“Say, that doesn’t hurt or burn or anything, does it? The chain’s dense but I’m not sure if that’d be enough exactly.”
“I don’t feel anything but the chain against my skin, and the chain just feels as cold as always. It’s strange.”
“Okay. I’m nearly done. Just need to finish the edge, but I’m sure you can whet it yourself.”
“If I remember correctly I will, thank you for this, though I lack the blade will stay intact, based on what must have broken it last time.”
“Oh by the way, what caused that?”
“I… was fighting something, something old and powerful, I can’t remember what.”
“Well if I see it, I’ll smack it up properly.” She lifts the blade up and hands it back to Geralt. “Should be good as new, hopefully…”
He takes the blade, which begins to glow red hot as the metal attaches to the broken parts truly, somehow returning to the blade it once was, and with it, memories into Geralt’s mind.
“No one, no matter how hard they try will ever be a ‘good’ hero. The fact that you’re trying makes you good enough. Even I know that.” He says with a smile.
