Aonghus, while walking in town, has went to the local sweet shop in order to buy someone the licorice strings he adores. He knew he was getting a bit chubby but this was a vice he had ever since I was a child. He looked both ways, he swore he did, but as he was about to pass over the railroad, a train barreled out of nowhere, almost hitting him. He stood stock still, silver eyes wide in shock.
All sounds seem to fade. His chest hurts. When the rain finally passes, instead of the other side of the tracks, he sees a gray beach covered in bodies, mostly aquatic creatures he cannot identify.
A man covered in strange, yellow, semi-transparent armor stands before him on the beach, a large halberd made of the same material in his hand, though not readied. He doesn't seem shocked, but he's still processing the situation. He smells like honey and the sound of buzzing echoes inside the armor.
Aonghus sniffs the air, tilting his head. "Hello.. are you alright?"
Aonghus is munching on strawberry and crunchy peanut butter PB&J's while sketching pictures of small baby animals. He looks extra fluffy today, his white fur fluffed out each and every way.
Xan is sharpening his nails while sitting on the roof of the tavern. He is dressed in warm layers.
Will is sleeping outside, in a tree. He is bundled in layers of jackets and blankets.
A human tumbles out of the brush, grumbling about thorns. Pulling some out of his hands, the rest of his arm having been protected by the thick leather coat he was wearing. He has pale skin and almost glowing yellow eyes, with messy short brown hair
Ani is leaning against xan, his robes not really useful against the cold
Aonghus looks up and gasps excitedly. They run over and tackle them in a hug, their tail wagging violently.
Xan pulls off his coat and gives it to him.
"HOLY-" They press a hand against Aonghus's chest, "Jeez, good to see you too." He laughs
"W-wont you get cold?" He asks, slightly shivering
"Missed you!! I missed you!!" He says and hugs them tightly "Didn't know where you went off too!"
"No. My blood is fire basically." He chuckled.
"Yeah, guess we got separated." He says, patting their cheek, "But I'm here now, try not to crush my bonws" He laughs
"Fire? How does... actually that makes a little sense" He smiles, "Cause you're hot" He says with a grin
It pulls away and continues to wag it's tail. "Quite sorry." It bowed.
Xan snorts and kisses his forehead. "Yeah yeah.'
"Its fine" He sighs, looking around, "So... where are we?"
Ani smiles, leaning into him more
"Material plane from the looks of it." He said before grinning "They have PB&J's here!" He wags his tail.
Xan holds him close.
"Huh, haven't been to a material city for a while. And that's good," he smiles, looking around again, "Hm..."
Ani snuggles against him, enjoying the extra warmth
"What's wrong?" They ask.
Xan kisses the top of their head, smiling fondly at them.
"It... I don't see It." He says, seeming mildly confused. (It is the creature btw, haven't thought up a name)
Ani hums softly, enjoying the moment
*Yes, it is*
"What is it?" They asked.
Xan starts to drift off, his eyes closing.
"Its gone. Or hiding?"
Ani leans back slightly so that xan doesn't fall off when he falls asleep
They make a whining noise 'I could help if you told me." It was it's tail.
Xan is out like a light, snoring.
"The creature. That weird thing that was following me when I met you." He says with a sigh
Ani hums, leaning xan on him, "Sleep well" He says softly

"No, they probably died naturally the first time, and by hunters the second. I make confections of all kinds, Herrn, so you need not worry. Does honey whet your appetite? I recently made some dampfnudels as well, if that piques your interest."
*salutations!* Pch’Ptah is attempting to sit calmly, but is beginning to suffer withdrawal.
Nainai is eating a sandwich with a lot of onions and tomato on it.
Thirteen is writing in his journal.
He hears a distant yet clear voice. Deep, with a German accent. "Perhaps a sweetie will take the edge off?"
<What? Who are you? I’m concentrating.> Pch’Ptah says. It sounds very agitated.
*Damn. If I had a nickel for each time I misgendered a bug, I'd probably have several nickels by this point.*
It sees a blurry figure of a massive knight in armor made of crystalized honey. "You are half-dead. Your body is craving something desperately." He holds out a hand. There is a small, yellow, wrapped hard candy in it. "I make sweets with medicinal properties. This one is normally for nicotine addicts, but I think it might take the edge off for you too."

<I’m all edges, pal. My willpower is titanium, and I’ve been half-dead for the past three years.> Despite these bold words, Pch’Ptah’s antennae are slightly curling, and its lesser hands are tightly clenched.
