He laughs and smiles, “How have you been?” He says, pulling a chair next to them for them.
“Sounds like somebody’s bein’ humble.” He slaps his shoulder softly before returning his focus to the statue “Oh, an’ I’m gettin’ hitched.”
“I was worried about you! I’m doin’ great!” She smiles wide, her fangs sharp and bright.
She sits down and shrugs "Cold.. Never liked the winter weather" She laughs gently.
"I heard that!" He grins and smacks him on the back "Look at ya!"
"IWASWORRIEDABOUTYOU!!!!" She spins her around, giggling
He wraps his arm around her, slightly warm “The velvet keeps me warm, but I never liked it much either.”
He smiles wide “Just doin’ what I learned from my good friend Arthur, you know ‘em?”
They let themselves be spun, not very used to the feeling, usually the spinner.
"I never liked the feeling of velvet.. kinda felt weird but that is just me." She chuckles.
"Bah... Everything you learned is something you learned yourself, nothing from me." He chuckles.
She giggles madly "What are you doing."
He shrugs, before returning to focusing on his jokes, tapping his pencil against his lip “That coffee looks delicious.”
“If that were true than I’d have nothin’. What do ya think o’ this?” He holds up the partially finished statue.
“Just getting some stress out through painting.”
"I snagged some from the tavern's kitchen." She grins "They have a good chocolate bean brew."
He examines it, lowering his googles "Good craftsmanship. Fairly carved. No nicks or crude edges" He hands it back and grins "Looks real good!"
"Well it is good to get stress out." She smiles.
He taps his nose with the pencil absentmindedly before lifting up the notebook paper “What do you think of these? Are they okay?”
He puts it down, as well as his carving knife “Looks like I’m finally free o’ my two sisters, an’ them bein’ in my life is finally over. Thank ya Arthur. Did ya hear Thane’s a dad now?”
"I guess" Lify looks down at her body, and black ink drips from her broken horn. there is no glow in her. she than stares around in fear.
“What’s wrong? Can I help with whatever’s wrong?” He says concerned.
"I'll... probably live?" She kinda shrugs, breathing in air through her teeth, and at that exact moment her horn and body flickers back to the normal, flamish glowy everything
“What do you mean probably? You need to explain what is going on. You know I’m always ready to help.”
William is sitting outside with Samaritan, looking over some blueprints that appear to be the foundation for a new restaurant. Samaritan has agreed to loan William some money in order to rebuild his restaurant, the Red Plate. William is explaining that he wants better room in the kitchen for staff to able to move around without bumping into each others stations.
The Herald is following behind a young woman who has a man hanging on her. He was employed for this job to keep her safe. He is dressed in a simple black jacket, the hood pulled over his head, with his normal half mask over his face, covering his nose and mouth.
Toboroth is back in the forests, the forest guardian curled up amongst the trees. Foxes, deer, badgers, raccoons, rabbits, birds, and animals of every kind come, talking to the deer-headed grassy aberration. Flowers bloom over his mossy skin despite the chill of winter. It’s actually quite warm around him, like warm wet air.
Rio has taken the form of a normal snake and is watching quietly.
Loriche is roving around, foraging as usual.
Samaritan explains to William that he needs more room for the patrons of the restaurant and the amount he wants for the kitchen is going to leave little room for people.
She sees a massive bony length that resembles a snake-like body with multiple legs with a deer-skull head at one end.
Riotan is keeping his distance for sure, knowing that Samaritan will be very upset to see him again but unable to resist prying into everyone’s lives.
Perplexed and a little scared, she approaches slowly.
William goes off to retrieve some more pens and Samartian's heads snap around at the snake "What do you want?" He grumbles, his tone cold.
It looks up and tilts its head "H e l l o.." a voice mumurs.
He continues like a normal snake, acting as though he can’t hear.
“Who… are you?”
He sighs "Fine, be that way then. I don't care anymore." he grumbles and stands up.
"I am... Toboroth.." It replies "You are... someone new.."
The snake suddenly bursts and Riotan reconstructs from its gore. “Now we both know that’s not true…”
“New? Oh no no no, I’ve been here nearly a millennia already. But, your name is Toboroth… you wouldn’t be a god by any chance, would you?”
"HAH!" He snorts, a nearby bush suddenly exploding in flames "I am right on that line."
"Not a god..." it says, the bones creaking as it slithers around. The animals watch, as if listening "I am... made.."
“Well, uh, how thick is the line? Or does it have no width, only length?”
“So am I! I think everyone is… isn’t that what wombs do?” She thinks for a second. “Eh, doesn’t make a difference. Nice to meet you!”
"Its getting thinner by the moment." he narrows his eyes, folding his arms.
"It is.. nice to meet you as well." It nods "You smell... real.... birthed from a woman's blood but you are right, made you are."
“Okay okay. I’m sorry. I was manipulative. I should’ve been up front, and I apologize.”
“You can still smell that?? I thought everything would’ve rotted by now…”
"I heard it from the woman you have feelings for after she thought you were being truthful only to have her world changed cause of it. All of it is a messy tangle of strings and lies and you seem to be at the center of it." He explains, fiddling with his knives, running his finger over the blade.
"I believe I can only smell it. My sense of smell can smell even the smallest things." It murmurs.
"I guess" Lify looks down at her body, and black ink drips from her broken horn. there is no glow in her. she than stares around in fear.

"You know how my dad cursed me, right?"
“Yeah, you never mentioned it that much though.”
"so maybe killing my sister made it just a little worse?"

No news is good news…
I'll lay a white rose on the cold earth, knowing it that it has not claimed your soul.
Felix nods again. "I got some salamander recently, and you're the only one around here who can really eat it. I also got some other delicacies from the City of Brass and some recipes from an Efreeti chef that I'm eager to try out. And I only got a little singed on the trip!"
“I would love to try it, even if I’m the only durable enough to try all of it.” He smiles wide at them “Everything you make ends up being delicious, so I’m never going to not want to eat any of it. You’re a good guy Felix, don’t forget that.”
He sighs. "Thanks, man." He stands up and heads to the kitchen.
He takes it back, reading over the ones that she marked, being the ones he thought about the most before writing down “The nobles didn’t like these ones.” He chuckles.
He shrugs “Some things don’t be changin’, he’s more of a godfather really. Waitin’ fer the kid to come out of their egg.” He smiles “He’s a better man than any of us.”
“You ain’t have to be good at painting, it’s all ‘bout emotion.” She hands them the bush and paint.

He follows, sitting on the ground outside of it, smiling softly, tapping his fingers against the counter.

She laughs a bit and watches him work.
"Awwww, that's sweet as sugar!" he grins "He is honestly. Gonna try and get him into heaven or Valhalla or something good."
She stares at it, the intrusive thoughts overcoming her suddenly.
"Oh, yeah. Sorry about that. Do you still plan on the whole cannibalism thing?" Felix looks slightly hurt, but doesn't say anything.
"No." William says "I'd rather not go to jail." he looks up, his steel-grey eyes meeting Felix's.
"That's... good." Felix maintains eye contact for a bit, before slowly looking away to the ground.
"Mn, I suppose." is all that William offers. Samaritan grumbles "What the hell is up with you two? I can smell it and it smells like burning vegetables. I understand things have happened in the past but the keyword in that sentence is 'past'." He narrows his eyes, the three heads turning towards them "You both [gp]ed up, get over it, people make mistakes. Talk it over, hell, go to therapy or duke it out outside".
William gives Samartian a dirty look, his eyes turning warmer but only in anger.
"I thought we were already done with this." Felix grumbles. He stands up, grabbing the box.

He looks up after writing a few more, picking up his lute, “I wonder…” He puts the mask on the table and begins playing, the note swirling around them both softly.
“That’s the truth, he don’t deserve ta end up in hell with the rest o’ us. He’s always savin’ lives an’ carin’ ‘bout everyone else.”
Merabelle lets her go wild, smiling softly as she sits out of the way, her arms crossed.

William sighs and stands up "Let me help you." he takes the box, and walks inside with Felix. After a moment, he speaks "I'm sorry.. I'm a bit bitter right now. You didn't deserve to be on the receiving end of that."
