Eya shrugs as she leaves the inn and begins to prowl about the town. She sits down for a moment to catch her breath, yet her momentary relaxation is cut short as she hears the sounds of someone screaming nearby. She smiles and sharpens her claws before beginning her hunt.
"Ah, that certainly sounds like it'll help narrow the location down. There's only so many cities that were destroyed by something along those lines." She produces her notepad and pen from her coat pockets, writing details down.
Omori doesn't immediately notice what the spell was for, and is about to ask about such, when the raven speaks up. "Ah, it's that spell again. Now then, what is it you wanted to ask?" It almost seems like the bird is used to being conversed with through magic. Omori audibly gasps upon hearing them speak, lighting up with pure wonder.
He feels at himself as memories come back more and more "It... had my exact build... super human strength... a thirst for combat and bloodshed... but all my memories... they don't feel like I was looking at it."
Merabelle softly pats the birds head "An' here I was gonna put you in a stew an' eat ya right up. What's yer name little bird, you've got a new friend that wants ta know." She says, leaning her chin on her palm.
KK is silent for a while. "That... that certainly complicates things. Though, it does also narrow our search a bit more. I imagine with a little research we'll be able to find that city and help get your memories in order in no time at all." She keeps taking notes.
"I've had a few names from past summoners before, but I'd say my favorite was... Amber, I believe it was." Omori is silently listening while she takes another sip of broth.
He nods, his gaze to the sky growing distant, as if he was trying to dig through his own mind, in search of farther clues before sighing, unable to find any “Thank you again, I’ll try my best to make it worth your time somehow.”
She turns to Omori, wanting to hear their thoughts “Does that work fer ya Omori sweetheart? After all, they’re yer familiar as much as yer theirs. Ya got ya say somethin’ on it.”
"I'm helping out a friend in need- it's already worth my time." She replies.
Omori nods. "Yeah, Amber works rather well. Nice to formally meet you, Amber." She says to Amber, who hops a bit closer and responds. "It's nice to meet you too, Omori. I look forward to us working together."

Samaritan is outside. He is talking with William, discussing the plans to purchase cooking utensils for the Red Plate. Samaritan is offering to take him to places in hell where he purchased his own tools but William shrugs and shakes his head.
Father Luciano is outside, despite the cold. He holds a spear on hand, protecting the church. Recently, some shadows have been trying to get into the church but he has so far stopped them. The arcane sigils over his body glow bright blue.
Doctor Gigli is in his office, humming to himself as he writes a few letters to local townsfolk who need to pick up their prescriptions.
Lacai is peddling his wares from his Fey wood cart, passing by them.
What appears to be a shadow taking form walks slowly towards him, but upon closer inspection, it's just a dragonborne. Description:
a 6'4 stocky bipedal dragon with ashy blue scales and bright, green eyes set into a round and friendly head. He has two piercings on his right ear, a golden heart locket around his neck, a baggy, red sweater that's cut a bit low, and black skater-like jeans that have chains dangling from the left side, connecting back to another belt loop. His tail has fins at the end.
Cyvus enters the office, looking quite weary.
Samaritan sits up and narrows his eyes.
The priest looks up, blinking. He bows his head "Hello my son."
Doctor Gigli looks up, the darkness concealing his features "Hello there."
*if you knew what i've done, you'd disagree. love you too.*
"Sounds simpler than mine." he says, chuckling. "At least you have such skills to sustain yourself."
*Thats assuming I care what you’ve done.*
“I cannot credit it all to myself, my companion and friend has done as much hunting as I. When I was sick they would find food for both of us.”
*knowing you, you do.*
"Fascinating..." he says, smiling at the lioness, this time with perfect, pearly white teeth. "Now, are they a familiar? Or just a unique creature?"
*Looks like you don’t know me, love ya anyway.*
The lioness looks away again and he laughs “Less a familiar and more… a unique creature. They are not truly a being or this world, but they are my friend regardless.”
Chimpmask screams and falls to the ground, not in pain, but just overwhelmed with terror. Horsemask jumps back as dogmask draws a knife takes a step or two back, holding out a hand as if to hold back the man and the lioness. "T-there are no bad animals, man! You've got a companion, you should understand this!" Max slowly rises from the ground, stumbling as he tries to gain his footing. He takes the one-armed man's chimp mask and puts it on, ignoring the terrified teenager he took it from. He stands up, silent but assertive, a far cry from the nervous, frail man he was a moment ago.
"I'm sorry I had to take your arm, and I truly do not hope it was your dominant, but if I see you around town harming anyone else, or see anyone with masks like yours harming anyone I will take your head next time." He takes one of his short swords, holding out the hilt for them to pick themselves up with it "I am so very sorry."
The teen shudders and tries to crawl away. Max looks down at him. "I would take his offer." The teenager nervously pulls himself up using the short sword hilt and runs off, using the other two animal lovers for support. Max turns to the newcomer, still wearing the stolen mask. "I'm sorry you had to see that." His voice is an inhuman growl, a hiss without aggression. It's like he became a new person as soon as he lost his face. "I didn't mean for it to get this bad."

Merabelle just watches the two, beginning to eat her own broth with joy in her eyes.
"Ah, but I can tell by your books that you're on a whole different level. I mostly make vending machines and mechanical suits. And other innovations in the areas of service and fast food, but that's not as big a deal as manipulating the sun." He tilts his own head, slowly turning to keep an eye on Helianth's main head.
"Manipulating the Sun?" It chuckles a bit. "Close, but not quite. I'm planning on harnessing the Sun. Capturing some of its core radiant essence to sample its taste. The stray light we catch on the surface is delectable, sure, but it's just the icing- I'm striving for the whole cake."
He chuckles as well. "Oh, how interesting. That sounds like quite the endeavor to take on alone. Is there any way I could help?"

“I don’t want to see anyone hurt, if I do, the punishment is swift and painless. If I see you hurting anyone, you will get the same result as them.” He says, not a threat, a simple statement and a promise from someone who has killed before “It appears I am talking to a new man, where did the meek and mild mannered one go?”
*if you knew what i've done, you'd disagree. love you too.*

He cocks his head, getting another look at the lioness. "Well, I assume it must be an honor to be friends with someone so unique. They must trust you quite a lot." He looks at their face, but his focus is somewhere else, nowhere currently in the present.
*Wont argue for the sake of our marriage*
He smiles wide, his canines unnaturally sharp for a regular human, but the way things are panning he certainly isn’t regular, maybe not even human anymore “It is an honor I wear with pride, and we have known each other long enough to earn that trust. Are you busy with something more important?”
KK also stands up, brushing some blades of grass off of their coat. "Alrighty. See ya." She says back, before walking off to somewhere else.
The two continue to converse with one another about nothing in particular, getting absorbed in their conversation to the point that Omori almost forgets about their broth.

Its attention now seems especially fixed on him, continuing to pace as it speaks. "Well, I already have a way of traveling to the Sun- and somewhat quickly, at that- but I don't have anything prepared for actually collecting an actual piece of the star rather than just its light. I can consume light, as you've likely inferred, but I'd need to get close- and given the Sun's gravity, that's not an option. If you could help me create a device to siphon the sun's raw essence... well, bottled sunlight would be a rather rare and valuable thing to sell."

*good human*
His attention is brought back, and his eyes dim for a moment. "No, no... I apolologize, my thoughts were pulled to the past..." he rubs the back of his head, chuckling sheepishly. "Might we find a resteraunt that would allow the presence of your friend?" he nods to the lioness.
“Don’t worry about it, memories are some of the most important things to any creature, days when things were better or worse, they must be cherished, because they motivate us more than anything else. I don't quite understand him, but I've learned to accept his... eccentricities." He does a slow turn-around, arms raised. He's not armed, but he gives off the feeling that he is in total control. I like snakes, food, and fine ale, and have means to produce all three. The snakes are a bit harder, but I think you get my meaning. We both like people though. Community. Seeing those kids like that..." He lowers his arms. "It really is a shame."
