He chuckles "They love em, will gnaw off a finger or two for them!" He chuckles.
He chuckles too, handing them each a candy cane. “So, what are ya doing here?”
"To deliver gifts and such, a delivery service of such." He chuckles, nodding.
“Oh, nice! To who?”
"Kids across the world." He says, leaning on his pick.
”how do you manage that? Can you, like, teleport around?”
He nods "In a way, yes I can!"
”ooh, so can I! But I don’t like to, haven’t gotten used to it…”
"That is amazing laddie!" He grins, proud of him.
“Hehe… thanks. Aren’t you cold? I’m freezin’ out here.“ he says, shivering.
"Ack! Sorry lad. Didn't realize ye be freezing yer tookus off!" He leads him inside, petting each of his reindeer on the way.
Vanilla sits down next to the fireplace, staring out the window. He brings Nicholas a chair to sit next to him. He snaps his fingers, looking out the window, and it starts to snow immediately. He chuckles, unwrapping a mint that appears in his hands.

The shells are powered with incredible divination magic, stronger than even Jack's bones.
He can mentally ask two questions about this being, but he automatically learns that it is a ludicrously overpowered mage, and that it is a fiend of some kind.
"Do you plan to cause harm, here or later?" He asks, looking up.
"That isn't an easy question to answer. It's a philosophical question, even if it would be straightforward for other people. I do not intend to cause harm. It is not my agenda. I may desire to cause harm from time to time, but only animals are ruled by their desires. Besides, my children would never forgive me if I did. People will get hurt because of my actions, but I never choose for that to happen."

Nicholas takes it happily as cookies suddenly appear on a table beside them "I am a bit of a magic maker as well my son. Still, I think that is pretty neat of you."
"Yup. Thanks for noticing. Most people won't refer to me once they know who I am. According to mythology, it's bad luck. I hope it isn't true."
“gah, not a big deal. I’m not worried about any bad luck. The worst that could happen is I don’t add enough M&Ms to my hot cocoa. Well, I mean, that’s pretty bad, now that I think about it, but… eh, you know what I mean. I’m Vanilla!”
It gives a little chuckle. "Ah, the god of Holiday Hospitality, among other things. Few others could make a Dredge Mocha the exact way I like it. It is very nice to meet you, Vanilla. I've read of your... dare I say exploits? Adventure sounds a bit extreme for the stories I've read. But they were enjoyable and heartwarming nonetheless."
He chuckles as they hug them tightly “Just practicin’, don’t worry ‘bout me. Are ya okay?”
He nods as he continues punching, slight explosions of eldritch power as well as infernal with each blow “Course, I’m listenin’.”
They stand up, putting the paper and pencil away “Course, who’re we gonna kill?”
She returns the head bow to them, ordering them both something to drink “Edwin? Like that name, somethin’ special ‘bout it, maybe it’s you.” She chuckles, half joking.
"Feeling icky. There up twice so far today." She huffs, folding her arms.
"I need you to look after office for a bit. I need to leave for a bit to go back to hell." He said "My office contains some things I'd rather not slip into the hands of folk who might slip in."
"Gentleman and his wife. They stole a good amount of money from their cohorts and decided to leave town and set up shop here instead to scamore folk."
He laughs "Thank you but I am afraid it's nothing special unlike you from what I can see."
He sighs “The pregnancy’s finally startin’ ta get ta ya? I’ll take care o’ ya if you need me to.”
He raises an eyebrow “Ya want me ta take care o’ it fer ya? Why?” He asks, confused, his now healed golden irises looking to them, slowly punching less as his hands lower.
He nods “I’ll go get my sniper rifle, but, they are thieves who stole from their friends? I can’t allow that, honor among thieves an’ all that.”
“Ah, ya flatter me more than I can tell ya.” Once the drinks arrive they slide them over “Do ya want ta tell me more ‘bout yerself?”
"I'm fine, just tired is all." She says, rolling her eyes and hugs him.
"You are the most powerful creature I know and I know you will do your best." He explained.
"Indeed, it is wrong overall." He nods, fixing his gloves.
"I suppose." He grins "Well, I grew up in a small village, nothing special, went to college and became a professor, then went on my way to go into alchemy." He said, swiling his drink in his cup.
He hugs them back, rubbing her back softly “Maybe you should take a nap, it would be for the best.”
*It seems you may have confused Thane and Rag, possibly.* He raises another eyebrow “If you say so, I will happily do so.”
He gets his sniper rifle, meeting back up with them a few minutes later, adjusting his hat.
She nods along with his words, obviously interested “Oh really? How was goin’ ta college, heard it was good myself, but I’ve never been. Ya got ta be real smart, I’d love ta hear more about yer passions.” She says, downing her drink in one go.

The weak so often feel inadequate, and I hate that. In fact, I hate mortalkind in general. But I cannot bring myself to destroy them. To bring myself to their level. They will destroy each other inevitably. We nearly cry when we think of it. So we work to provide a way out. I hope that through teaching people magic, the fundamental laws of our reality, that they will realize what they are, what they have done, and the way out. All people want to learn is fireball, and I oblige them. I cannot teach someone who does not want to learn, but most do not even know what they want to learn. I am a teacher, and one of the best ones. But my purpose is to expunge humanity and all its flaws. Foolish. Foolish I am, but I believe that people have the capacity to leave evil behind. To become beings of purity by their own volition. I cannot force them, but I can teach them. So I will teach."
*Cut, you aren’t an idiot, we can pretend it was Rag the whole time.*
He chuckles and picks her up, kissing his passionately “Now where do ya want ta sleep, cause yer goin’ ta bed.”
He nods, loading his rifle with a single shot, breathing in the air, closing his eyes for a moment, his ears twitching as he mutters to himself, “One shot, two kills.”
Merabelle seems to think for a moment, “Well, things started out with me livin’ inside of a giant lizard as an orphan, taken care of by the legendary sharp shooter Deadeye of the Gnarly desert. I became one of the people on his crew, we did water heists fer a while, eventually the gang split up after a friend o’ mine’s sisters killed Deadeye and cursed most o’ us. I traveled fer a while, became an underground mma fighter, had a lot of short romances, ya know how it is. Eventually I heard that friend was in trouble, so I came here.” She smiles wide at them.
*Well, I really want to write Manga. I'm trying to read all sorts of books more, and I'm hoping to get the legendary tome Manga in Theory and Practice for Christmas or my birthday, which is next month.*
*Oh your birthday is in January? Interesting, anyway, I’m trying to write a book myself, though I’ve taken a break from it to reflect upon what I’m writing and learn more about it as a whole. I should show you what I’ve written some time, I’ve heard you’ve been trying to write mangas and such, tell me more of you would.*
*I would love to see what you've written.*
*I keep coming up with spur-of-the-moment ideas for series, but what I need to do is write some one-shots first. And of course, follow the KISS principle (Keep It Simple, Stupid). I want to go for some sort of whimsical dark fantasy slice-of-life with maybe some fights here or there. Like Frieren, but with more horror.*
*Honestly most of my ideas, as you know are spur of the moment, naturally. Maybe you could connect the one shots you’ve written, because I know you are an intelligent writer. I’ve never heard of the KISS principle, but I certainly agree, a strongly kept audience enjoys complexity, otherwise it isn’t wise.*
It gives a little chuckle. "Ah, the god of Holiday Hospitality, among other things. Few others could make a Dredge Mocha the exact way I like it. It is very nice to meet you, Vanilla. “Aww, you’re real kind. You know, when I became a god, like a decade back, I did not think I’d be a god of Candy, but… Y’know I can’t complain… I’m still a god.”
"I can't complain either. Candy is a favorite toy of mine. I'm sure you know how relatively easy it is to make something beautiful out of sugar glass. Sometimes I wish I could be a god, but I know that I'd never be able to handle the responsibility. You have an entire concept to manage. Even the more hands-off deities have important work to do, and I know I would abuse my power. We have before, and it hurt us as much as anyone. So we decided that I should be kind." It takes another sip.
"You know, a long time ago, we each decided something for ourself: we will never use our powers for our own benefits. The Magus can't heal itself. I can't run for mayor. The Beast can't kill. But we do our work regardless. We are hardly pure, but it's better than what we could be doing."
