“It sounds like whoever your boss is, they don’t know how to manage their forces, or what they are doing themselves.” He says, trying to be a bit insightful.
"...yep..." She croaks angrily.
“If you aren’t too busy, would you like to grab a drink some time?” He asks, not very confident in himself, but trying to pretend he is.
"...in like ten or so minutes. I need to go grab something."

He nods, muttering to himself “Naturally, we all have things to do.” He walks back to the Inn, hoping no one tried to steal his things.
Heriot woke up early, and has been taking the time to fix the things covering her wounds happily.

Heriot woke up early, and has been taking the time to fix the things covering her wounds happily.
Mala quickly flies back. "Hi. Bye." She drops a few bandages and antibiotics in front of Heriot before flying back toward John.
She takes the antibiotics and things, using them, despite her very limited understanding of it all.
John has finished cleaning his armor, resting it next to his chair, having a drink, waving to them once they arrive.
*Bah, y'know what, here he is despite the fact I haven't written up a stat block yet.*
Thirteen can feel the air somehow getting heavier around the tavern ground and it seems to be moving almost.
Home is playing with the kitten, feeding it bits of fish.
Samaritan, although against the abyssal work, supports his partner.
*I was wondering if Rio could interact with Stroth and do the ritual to bring back her fetus*
Thirteen sighs and takes his journal and sword, going outside.
Loriche eventually awakens and looks down, smiling. “Aww…”
Riotan is trying to summon a manes soul to stuff into his new vrock body. It’s not working that well.
*Sure!*
Outside, in town, there is a man. He seems to be surrounded by cheering folk as he holds a man by the collar. He waves to them, beaming. He wears a superhero styled suit made of black fabric and a long black cape. He is, by all means, conventionally handsome, with blonde, neat hair cut short, tanned peachy skin, and a bright smile.
Home looks over and chuckles "Yeah, she is weird."
Stroth appears beside them both and it takes every ounce of willpower from Samaritan not to punch her but he rolls his shoulders and walks back to his restaurant. She rolls her eyes at him, flipping him off as he walks away before sitting down beside Rio.
“Good lord…” He mumbles, beginning to document this.
“I thought cats ate fish normally?”
Riotan moves as though to follow Samaritan, but stops and heads back. “Well, now that you’ve driven off my boyfriend, what can I do for you?”
He begins to take photos with people, giving autographs, and talking with folk, encouraging them that they are true heroes.
"Not really. People usually give them like canned food and stuff."
"Sorry, me and him hate each other." She sighs "how're you?"
Thirteen approaches closer, trying to discern the nature of him.
“But this is the wilderness! She deserves natural meat to grow up strong.”
“I know. And I’m just fine. So have you thought about my offer one way or the other?”
As he gets closer, the man suddenly whips around and faces him. "Hello there concerned citizens. How're you?"
"Agreed, which is why.-" he holds up the fish he caught.
"I did and I say let's do this." She smiles.
"Uh. Quite well, thanks."
"Oh good. You know, I've seen these things called displacer beasts which look the same as normal cats when they're little. What if our friend here is one of those? That'd be cool."
Rio nods solemnly. "Well then, allow me a minute to set this back up. There's also some ritual stuff you'll need to hold and use. Once I'm done, lie down in the center of the circle."

I've got this strength, hear it in my voice... Barlowe the demon is chopping up firewood, his big muscles making short work of the logs. He hums in celestial, dusts off his hands, and pulls up his belt, sloshing the beer in his big gut.
On every wavelength, the choirs rejoice... Felix is in the tavern, listening to his own voice on the radio. The song is more hopeful than you would expect, but he doesn't look happy about it.
I sense them getting closer, pray that I maintain composure... Oswald is increasing security around the factory, automating guardposts and threat detection systems.

Harlow is in a nearby lake, submerged in the deeper end to gather up samples of the streams water.
Angél walks over, dressed in thick woolen clothing to keep himself warm. He carries a ceramic pot with him.
Yuri, of course, is being an arse and testing the security out.
