“It’ll probably be the death of me.” He chuckles, joking.
*I think we could continue, just since the fights over doesn’t mean they need to stop interacting*
“Most likely.”
*Fair enough, if you want to continue, I’d be happy to. Let me just.*
She pulls her halberd to her, beginning to sharpen and clean it “Who… are you?”
He smiles, knowing it’s definitely true “Has the cult grown any?”
“I’m Malafasa… you…?”
“No, not really. But I have several ongoing plans to expand my current goals…”
She sighs, “Heriot… nice to… meet you…”
“And what would those current goals be? I don’t know much, but I’d be happy to assist.”
After a while, Malafasa sits up and slightly scoots away from Heriot, realizing that she was a bit too close.
“Well, are you good at digging or needlework?”
They notice, but shake their head “Don’t think… I don’t like you… you seem fine.” They say, the blood loss starting to get to them.
“Good at digging? No, but I don’t stop until I collapse.”
“Hold on…” She grabs a stick from the forest floor and tears the shoulder strap off of her peplos, fashioning a tourniquet with it. She secures the makeshift device over Heriot’s wounded limbs. Medicine: 12
“Hmm. That’s not necessary. Can you proselytize/deal drugs?”
It’s enough to keep her from bleeding up, but it doesn’t need to be anything special. She seems thankful for that “Hmm, I didn’t need this… but thank you either way. I’ll… I’m just gonna rest here. Thank you.”
He gives them a flat look “Do I seem like the type to deal drugs?”
“Well I’m making sure you don’t die in your sleep, got it?” She perches over Heriot, her wide eyes staring down at her.
“Anyone can deal drugs if they try hard enough! Ah, never mind. I’ll think of something.”
She falls sleep, clinging to her halberd as if it were a teddy bear of something similar. (Want to continue when she wakes up?)
He shrugs, smiling at them as he refills his drink “Until then, I suppose I’ll be trying to find that lady, and killing things.”
Tengen pulls away from the embrace for a moment, his face stony “Stop apologizing, okay?”
He puts his hands on his hips, looking to all of it with a smile “Nice job makin’ all o’ this, I’m happy I could help.”
"I know.. maybe I should go back to the Black Crown.. the world out here is bad.."
"Glad you could help as well." She beams and dust off her hands
“I would miss you if you did… but if you think it’s for the best, I’ll manage some way or another out here.”
He takes off the apron, smiling back at them, giving them a quick kiss.
She nods and hugs him tighter.
She gives him a kiss back and goes to find Rag.
He hugs them back “You’re the only one… the only one I like… I’m sorry I can’t protect you.”
Rag is in the forest, meditating. The ground around him isn’t magma, but that’s purely because it’s volcanic rock.
"It's fine.. I wasn't built for happiness.." she said, they both know this is a truth unfortunately.
Stroth grins and waves "Rag!!'
He sighs, looking into their eyes “That doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to be happy. If I can do anything, I vow I will do all that I can to have you happy, and stay that way.”
He opens an eye, standing up soon after “Oh, hello Stroth.”
*Bah, y'know what, here he is despite the fact I haven't written up a stat block yet.*
Thirteen can feel the air somehow getting heavier around the tavern ground and it seems to be moving almost.
Home is playing with the kitten, feeding it bits of fish.
Samaritan, although against the abyssal work, supports his partner.
*I was wondering if Rio could interact with Stroth and do the ritual to bring back her fetus*
Thirteen sighs and takes his journal and sword, going outside.
Loriche eventually awakens and looks down, smiling. “Aww…”
Riotan is trying to summon a manes soul to stuff into his new vrock body. It’s not working that well.
*Sure!*
Outside, in town, there is a man. He seems to be surrounded by cheering folk as he holds a man by the collar. He waves to them, beaming. He wears a superhero styled suit made of black fabric and a long black cape. He is, by all means, conventionally handsome, with blonde, neat hair cut short, tanned peachy skin, and a bright smile.
Home looks over and chuckles "Yeah, she is weird."
Stroth appears beside them both and it takes every ounce of willpower from Samaritan not to punch her but he rolls his shoulders and walks back to his restaurant. She rolls her eyes at him, flipping him off as he walks away before sitting down beside Rio.
“Good lord…” He mumbles, beginning to document this.
“I thought cats ate fish normally?”
Riotan moves as though to follow Samaritan, but stops and heads back. “Well, now that you’ve driven off my boyfriend, what can I do for you?”
He begins to take photos with people, giving autographs, and talking with folk, encouraging them that they are true heroes.
"Not really. People usually give them like canned food and stuff."
"Sorry, me and him hate each other." She sighs "how're you?"
Thirteen approaches closer, trying to discern the nature of him.
“But this is the wilderness! She deserves natural meat to grow up strong.”
“I know. And I’m just fine. So have you thought about my offer one way or the other?”
As he gets closer, the man suddenly whips around and faces him. "Hello there concerned citizens. How're you?"
"Agreed, which is why.-" he holds up the fish he caught.
"I did and I say let's do this." She smiles.
"Uh. Quite well, thanks."
"Oh good. You know, I've seen these things called displacer beasts which look the same as normal cats when they're little. What if our friend here is one of those? That'd be cool."
Rio nods solemnly. "Well then, allow me a minute to set this back up. There's also some ritual stuff you'll need to hold and use. Once I'm done, lie down in the center of the circle."
