They both look up to them, before looking back down "The bird got died, it wasn't our fault. We promise!"
Phoenix crouches down. "Could you pinky promise me that?"
They both take a moment, still looking at the ground, before looking back up "We didn't mean it kill it..."
"I know kiddos, its ok." he says, scooping them up in his arms. "Let's go get ya washed up and some food in ya bellies ok?"
They both let it happen, nodding to them. Their appearance has seemingly changed over time, regressing from the people they were, probably as a result of turning back from being demons.
He hums as he sets them down in front of the kitchen sink. "Soap and warm water ok?"
They both nod and begin to wash their hands together, Sparrow watching curiously "Well ain't that somethin'."

"If you insist." He continues to tell them of his adventures, the jutsus he's learned and times they have saved his life when facing a far mightier foe. Thrilling and dangerous adventures, pretty interesting.
