The door is opened by a half-elf with short brown hair and a week trimmed mustache, his skin is the color of amber. He wears goggles over his head, perched in his hair and simple travelers clothing. By his side is a plated steel mastiff, its eyes glowing bright blue. He takes a seat at the table, petting the mental head of the false mastiff.
You get a few curious glances, but this is a flying island with an astral ship docked up at it, so it's not too out of the ordinary to see someone like you.
The half-elf shifts a bit, not used to being stared at and scratches the mastiff's chin, taking some comfort in his buddy.
A cloaked figure enters the tavern and approaches the bar. With a raise of a shining hand, he asks the bartender in a sort of synthesized voice, “I’ll take a pancake.”
"Coming right up." The bartender starts cooking the pancake right there at the bar. "What brings you here son?"

“A sense of purpose. What else?”
"Fair enough. You come alone?"

He finishes cooking the pancake, puts it on a plate, and hands it to you. "Anything else I can get you? Maybe some sources to put on your pancake?"

“No. I’m fine.”
The cloaked humanoid takes the pancake and sits at an empty table.
A thri-kreen appears on the main deck. Her name is Sistru. She appears somewhat disoriented.
*I don’t know how active I’ll be here with all the other taverns I have characters in but this looks too cool to pass up.*
"Ah, a new guest!" Says a reasonably tall dwarf. He shakes your hand vigorously. He's wearing a black and white Tuxedo that doesn't really go with his red hair and long beard, which almost touches the floor. "Welcome! This, my friend, is the Twinkling stars Tavern, the greatest vessel to ever sail the seven stars."
He steps back to let you two see the full extent of the deck you just arrived on. You're standing on what looks like wood, but because of its shine you suspect it's something else. The walls are basically just massive windows with pastel blue metal bars strengthening them at 10m intervals, and the roof is tinted glass, but the stars still shine through it. At one end of the deck there is a fancy looking flight of stairs. In the middle of the deck there's a fountain shaped like a planet, with little devices that look like flying boats going round it, and at the far end of the deck there is a little raise in the floor and on top of this raise is a steering wheel that looks like one that you might see on a normal boat. "This vessel was the pride and joy of the F.L.U.F.F. Fleet," says the dwarf "But after a tiny accident we had a few hundred years back, it has become a floating tavern sailing through the cosmos."
"Any way, my names Ralffolonos exserbieus, but everyone just calls me Ralf. What can I call you?"

”You can call me Sistru,” she says. “I was out hunting for food for my nest and the next thing I remember I was standing here on this ship. How did I get here?”
