Is it bad, when you look at an artist's art - and think how it also looks like AI art (but isn't, because at least they got the fingers right) - but the style of art, looks "AI'ish" to me...
QotD: Psionics in D&D. Yes or no? If yes, how would you like it done?
*Jumps into a foxhole.*
There should be a rule set for Psionics, so people who want to run a Dark Sun type campaign have the rule set to apply to it and they can homebrew or use resources from previous D&D versions to recreate Dark Sun with official 5e content.
I, myself, never cared for Psionics in general. In my world, Illithid have Psionics, so they do not use spell slots or anything. They're the sole race whose minds were advanced enough to develop Psionics. But it's pretty much spells without spell slots.
I like psionics and often include it in my games. Partially because Mind Flayers are my favorite D&D monsters. But I’ve also homebrewed cultures of psionic peoples (the Felshen, kind of like my world’s version equivalent of Kalashtar). I’ve never played a psionic character, though. The Mystic had problems, but I do think it fits psionics better than the official representation.

Yeah, a more systematic approach to psionics would be cool. In my world, psionics is any magic that uses the aether/magic inherent to the psyche, including ki, which makes Monks psions (and also kinda sorta Rangers as well). I'm not sure if I'd want the rules to merge ki and psionics, though, since that's mostly just a result of how magic works in my world.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.

But Tieflings are ashamed of their heritage, why would they style their hair? It would just make them more conspicuous.
Not all tieflings are ashamed of their heritage. Some of them might not be evil but still embrace their heritage as a part of them. Fiend pride. Or am I being too relativistic?

I really like D&D, especially Ravenloft and Forgotten Realms. My pronouns are she/they.
I like reading and writing too, but I’m not much of an artist.

There’s a line of a song that I believe simplifies this.

I still don't even know what psionics are, but a lot of people seem very upset about them.
Mental magic. Telepathy, telekinesis, and similar stuff. Think Eleven from Stranger Things.

I think it’s a good idea based on the Eleven comment but I don’t know much about it.

There is a group of Tieflings in my world that hide their identity as Tieflings with elaborate hairstyles, cloth, and ribbons.

And the tiefling with the angel wing hairdo is embracing their Celestial side (I believe that angels and fiends are just two sides of the same coin).
