Yes. So I can start getting used to it... so that when I wrap up my current campaigns with 2014, I will be more familiar with how to handle monsters when the new campaigns launch with 2024.
Man, every once in a while I go back to the DMs Guild, and it just makes me sad. Mostly AI-generated garbage. I used to spend a bit of money on that platform.

Do you think they’ll ever bring Chains of Asmodeus to the regular DDB? It looks pretty good from what I’ve seen.

I really like D&D, especially Ravenloft, Exandria and the Upside Down from Stranger Things. My pronouns are she/they (genderfae).
That's a good question. I'm still a bit confused about how "official" it is, but it seems like it should be easier, legally speaking, than getting another third-party contract.

I told Sposta not to do that with the haversack, but did anyone listen to me?
No.

Question: Have you ever had a 'I am rich and I know it' in a campaign?
Nope. My current DM doesn't pay much attention to gold and practically never rewards us with it. I would to keep better track of it but that's just not his style. We have currently overthrown the fey king of the Summer Court and our ranger has been crowned the new king and owns a quarter of the fey wild so we now have access to the whole royal treasury and an entire fairy army. So we are all filthy rich now but none of us flaunt it.

This guy doesn't use AI. He's pretty good. Has a ton of stuff about character backstories.
And one adventure - and the cover of that one is a picture of his from his trip to Ireland.
Had a funny realization today. First I was disappointed that the next year will just be rehashes of the FR and Eberron. Then I realized I don't actually need anything else from 5e anyway. I have achieved enlightenment.

or at the least, a little more money to spend on other things.
I have some things from the new books I want to look at, but mostly for ideas, not to use, and it takes a LOT for them to give me a reason to buy something. Not because I am angry with them or anything, but because if it isn't useful to me, I won't buy it.
I am a little shocked that I am likely to get the Monster Manual.
But the rest of it doesn't add anything to the game that I need, and that isn't a problem. I am curious to see what the mystery October book is, and it is nice to have an idea of the rest of it, but I don't use Eberron, I loathe FR, and I have my own dragons who are all CR30 anyway. I have a whole custom set up for teaching people, so no need for a starter set. But I am not the market they seek -- new people are.
If the mystery book is a Tasha's or Xanathar's style thing, I will probably get it, and it would be the second thing I buy for the game this year.

I don’t like the Forgotten Realms, and don’t need 10 short dragon adventures so I probably will skip those 3 books. I’m definitely getting the Eberron book, as it’s one of my favorite settings. I’ve skipped a few WotC books recently (Bigby’s, Dragonlance, Golden Vault, etc).

Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
Question: Have you ever had a 'I am rich and I know it' in a campaign?
Not quite sure what that means.
My group usually isn’t filthy rich but we own a nice Manor or something like that, we can’t just buy anything though. Personally I also like not having everything, it makes it more fun to work for it. If there’s one philosophy I almost always stick to, it’s that “More is less.”
My group mostly plays other TTRPGs though, not D&D, and so many of them use a different currency or gold is just an actual treasure

My group usually has plenty of money once we reach the higher levels, but it’s still really annoying when one player starts lording it over NPCs because of how much gold they have. Luckily that hasn’t happened with my current group.

As in a (player) character? No. Usually the characters in my games, are not drowning in coin. (It attacts thieves, you know).
However, my main current campaign - where the players are level 17 - do now own a temple and have a Spelljammer.
So they don't have a lot of money, because of the cost of maintanence and employees, but they're not poor.
That came is only - roughly, probably - about 10 sessions (or less) from finally concluding an epic adventure.
There is definitely an NPC they encountered, hated, he changed their minds, they love him now but don't always trust him, who flaunted his wealth.
