All of the people there are smiling, even the local priest running it. 'You look wonderful' Flint whispers to her

'Today, we have come together to witness the holy matrimony of Trilinious 'Flint' Dracoheart and Ashleigh Lester' (Legally, that is his name, Flint is a name he gave himself)

'If any persons here know of any just impediment or objection to this union, you are to declare it now'

Nobody objects

'I guess we're doing this then' Flint whispers

At that moment, Hi (Flint's rodent sidekick), dressed in a rather adorably smart suit, comes running down the aisle. He seems to be wearing hair gel to accentuate his natural 'emo fringe'. Why a rat would have an emo fringe, nobody quite knows. Strapped to his back is a cushion with 2 grey metal rings on. 

The priest takes up the cushion of rings, ready to give to the couple to give to each other. He says a load of priesty stuff, then gives the floor to the couple

'Ashleigh? What can I say? Before I met you, well, you all know what I was like. My life's work was finding the treasure amidst the trash, the beauty amongst the brokenness. And I guess my life's work is complete. Because no find, however valuable, not a diamond in the pocket of a corpse, not a long-lost hero's sword, nothing I can find can ever compare to the most precious of them all. And that's you, Ash. I love you'

The priest gives them the rings. Hi, for some reason, looks proud of himself, as if this was all down to him.

'And thus, it has been declared!' The crowd claps. 'These rings will act as a symbol of your eternal, undying love' The priest hands the rings to them. 

Flint gently holds out the ring to Ashleigh's hand

Flint puts the ring on her. It's not a fancy ring, and it's a fair bet its original purpose was as part of some contraption, not as a wedding ring. But it works, and it fits.

Flint extends his hand

'I love ya too, Ash'

'You may now kiss' The priest intones

*Ashleigh and Flint are so cute lol*

Flint kisses Ash back. The guests all clap again.

The priest stands back, his job now over. 'I pronounce you husband and wife!' 

*Never played a character in a relationship before, let alone one getting married, but I think it's actually worked well!*

There is a bit of a gathering around the cake table. The cake is magnificent *you've seen the description right?*

'It's almost a shame to have to cut it, it's a work of art?' Flint stuffs a slice of cake into his grinning face. 'Nope, not a shame. It tastes even better than it looks, and yes, that's possible!'

The cake stands about four feet tall, has about 5 tiers, and has monochrome frosting and fondant. There are little sculptures of scenes from Ash and Flint's adventures together around the cake, complete with sugar glass broken bottles and wafer paper garbage, pulled sugar demons and fondant carnivals, taffy monstrosities and chocolate friends. At the very top are Flint and Ash getting married, the ultimate adventure for the both of them.
