*gtg for now, see ya!*
The imp follows him.

"Here we are!" James shows you all if the basics of the kitchens. It's not too complicated. "Do you know how to cook decently?"
"Yes. I, uh, had to cover for employees that didn't do their jobs right. You know how devils are: ever picky, never satisfied."
"Exactly! So, usually, when I hire new cooks, I let 'em make me something, anything, and I'll try it. If I like it enough, I'll even put it on our menu! I also do it just to see where you're at skill-wise. That sound good?"
The imp is working in the kitchen. He sure knows how to hustle.
The imp has prepared an odd-looking dish. It is clearly meant to be haute cuisine, but none of the ingredients are identifiable as what they originally were.
Wait, wait... there's some pasta, sort of... and that is almost certainly meat... and that may be a sliced root vegetable... are those bones?...
Its closest cousin in human cuisine would most likely be some hybrid of a croissant and a spring roll, but the relationship is very distant.
'Skeletons do make good friends. But don't worry, he was here before I was, weren't ya Bob? I didn't kill him. I might rob corpses, but I don't make 'em'

'A good answer. You know, you're really not much like what I've heard of Wood elves. You seem better. I know a place that fits.' He swims off down the channel into a small tunnel. 'Don't ya just love a good afternoon swim?'

Flint grins crookedly. It's good to have someone so seemingly similar. 'Hey, you know one of the best things about living down here? You get to see where all the dead bodies are coming from. Ya know Jim's Taco Shop near the centre of the town? Do not eat the meat, that's all I can say.'

Eventually, after swimming down a rather small and uncomfortable pipe, they reach a small chamber. It's very dark and damp, just as Flint said. There are already a few blankets about in a pile on the slippery floor. A pipe leads upwards at a slant. 'You don't want to know where that'll take ya. What do you think?'

You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
“No? Well, yes. It’s hard to tell with everybody, so i assume everyone is until i know them.”
'That's smart, actually. Hey, you're not planning to slit my throat, are ya? Are ya?'

You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
“Dark and Damp. I don’t like sunlight.”

You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
