'Good thanks, business is going well, even managed to sell some junk items as well!' He gestures to the empty shelves around the room, which were previously filled with Flint and Ash's nicer finds- chipped vases, random trinkets etc

You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
"Yeah! Just let me finish this up and I'll go get my things." She sweeps all the dust out the door, goes back to her room and comes out with her satchel, still rolling up the bottoms of her trousers.
"It's my pleasure, honestly. I like feeling useful!" Lil makes a slight face of disgust, still not used to the unusual entrance, but follows Flint down all the same. "Hey, have you talked to Norward lately? I wonder if he still thinks I'm a witch."
'I've seen him around. I think he's starting to get used to ya! But Kiara came home from shopping with Ash and told me that one of the employees had warning her about a witch! The rumours really are going around, about most of us I think. Ya ok? Ya face looks a little funny?'

"That's good, I'm sure he'll get used to both of us in time. And I'm almost honoured that I'm considered important enough to warn children about. I'm ok! Still getting used to the smell down here, but if I can grow accustomed to the smell of dead bodies I'm sure I can deal with this."
'Apparently it does take some getting used to, not that I would know. For most of my life, this was all I really knew. Took me a scarily long time to even get used to sunlight, I'd only go to the surface at night! I'm sure you'll get used to it just fine!'
He finds a plank of wood and a almost-empty pot of paint.

"How did you end up living in sewers? If you don't mind me asking that is, I know some folks are less inclined to talk about their past, and that's perfectly alright."
She sees the plank and paint, and says "Hey, just the right ingredients for a sign! Maybe we could paint one for the Kind Creepy Weirdos, seeing as the sewers are practically our headquarters."
'I've always lived in places like this, as long as I can remember. When I was a baby, the tavern my parents ran and lived above burned down, and they assumed I was dead. But I wasn't. I had a blessing from a powerful entity who I call the Third. This blessing allowed me to survive the flames, made the rats want to look after me and raise me as one of their own, and the blessing then also taught me the things the rats couldn't, like how to be human. The idea of living on the surface was completely alien to me for a long time.'
'We so need a sign! Ya much of a painter?'

"Woah, you must be the luckiest person I've ever met. Sorry...I mean, it's awful that your home burned down and they thought you had died. But this Third must really like you. Not many babies could survive down in the sewers with only the rats for company, and come out stronger than before."
Lil laughs. "Well, definitely a better painter than musician. I think I have a paintbrush in here somewhere..," she says, digging around in her bag.
'I know. I'm a lucky guy. The Third does like me. Sometimes I wonder if his blessing, as well as saving me by bringing me into the sewers, also shaped how my mind worked, made me into the sort of person who'd be okay with such a life, adapted me to fit my new surroundings. Or, maybe, I just never knew any different!'
'Great! Now we'll just need to figure out where to put this sign up? And maybe get our club some more members!'

"I guess we'll never know. Maybe you were just born like this, and would never have been happy growing up on the surface."
She starts painting 'Kind Creepy Weirdos' onto the sign, sticking her tongue out slightly as she concentrates. "You can choose where this is going to go! And we should definitely get some more members, two is hardly a club."
"Honestly, I have no idea. I've never been in a proper club before. I guess we just keep a lookout for people like us, the outcasts and oddballs, and then try and recruit them?"
"Ash and Visk'ulig most definitely qualify. I guess Bob probably counts too, seeing as he's a skeleton. I don't really know too many other people in this town yet, but maybe I'll bump into some more Kind Creepy Weirdo candidates."

"I'm glad! Maybe we should go on another trip down the sewers sometime, find you some more junk. The shelves feel so empty now."
'Ya know, I was kinda thinking the same thing! The Wolf and Rat isn't the same with empty shelves!'
You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
"Exactly! Junk and trinkets are really the heart of a building, it's hard to feel at home in a place that doesn't have any decoration."
'Ya know, I quite agree!' He goes upstairs to get changed into a more suitable outfit and goes downstairs. 'We go now?'

'Ya know, ya don't always have to be quite so helpful!' he laughs, going to the toilets and slithering down into the drains
