suddenly, the sound of a shotgun firing fills the room. the eye is struck by the full brunt of the blast. the shot blasts of it's cornea, lens, and iris, revealing an extreme toothy maw. it turns in the direction of the shotgun's wielder.

the instant the lightning stops, the human throws the shield at the dragon, and pulls out a prism. she takes a deep breath and then the crystal starts to produce beams of light, surrounding the dragon. these beams start to coalesce into one big beam, and when the dragon touches a beam, it takes damage akin to a sphere of anhiliation
The dragon roars loudly
