Plague Eater is laying his face on a table at the noodle shop. Bowls are piled around him, and the shop is almost out of stock. Plague Eater sighs and plays with his medal, rolling it on the table and between his fingers.

 "What is the matter?" says the reptilian monster. She somehow managed to enter the shop quietly and has mostly concealed her odd appearance with her cloak and shawl. 

 "I just have days like this. I've been dead for almost a thousand years. Almost everything I even started fighting for is gone. People either see me as a hero or a monster now, and I keep disappointing both of those groups. It's just... I don't know why I'm even back."

 "Sounds tough." her yellow eyes are all that can be seen from her hood, "So what are you waiting for? Are you going to sit here and eat until someone comes and explains your existence to you? You have received a second chance at life, aren't you going to do something with it?"

 "No, not really. My only real skill is killing, and we all know what happens when someone gets a bit overzealous with that talent. I might go on some adventures, but those usually do as much harm as good. I miss the days when I had no moral compass and only cared about comfort and survival, like a normal lizardfolk."

 She snorts, "You are blessed with the ability to do good and cursed with the ability to do evil. You are not the only one in such a situation." 

 "So?"
