'Worse situations than that? That can't be hard. You can't be too easily grossed out, think about what you're standing in! But, yeah, Dexen, What a guy. High-born Tabaxi, some Count or other, made a few life mistakes and ended up a shivering and honestly kinda pathetic little kitty in the Pohaku City sewers. Needed somewhere to live where the bounty hunters couldn't find him. We got on well. He had a good heart, even if he did have an ego the size of a small planet'

'Yeah, we really were. Did pretty much everything together. Apart from the thieving and gambling on his end- I didn't count myself dumb enough to take risks like that, but yeah, pretty much everything. I mean, he used to take the mick about me being a sewer-dweller, but it wasn't like he wasn't in the same boat. Talking of boats, he always wanted a boat. Some crazy dream of becoming a pirate.'
