'Jim Cato was travelling on a passenger ship which crashed on Hook Island. With limited food and supplies, Jim had to do terrible things to survive. When he saw a rescue ship, he was so happy to be freed from the living nightmare of the island. But he wasn't freed. No, when they found out what he'd done, society shunned him, and he was put on trial. Sentenced him to death, but he escaped. His new purpose in life? To put others, those who would judge him, into similar life-or-death situations, force them to make the decisions he had to, and then have the 'enlightened' survivors carry on spreading his message. Man, the story gives me the creeps, and I talk to rats and skeletons, swim through filth, and rob corpses.'
