Anthony stares at it for a moment, and then grabs a fireproof blanket, covering the path of the fire, "And now it can't move. Safe."

It goes around the blanket.

He puts another blanket on it, then all around it so it can't go around

It stays there, but it keeps getting bigger, until an ember goes over the blankets and starts a fire outside the blanket ring

Nit how fire, Greek or otherwise works. Can't spread because nothing around it can catch on fire
