 A slightly muscular 15 year old boy climbs up the wall right next to him. His hair is black with white streaks and his eyes are a frosty light blue. His skin is a very light shade. He’s wearing a camp half blood shirt and shorts. He’s kinda short (like 5’3) as soon as they get within 10 feet of each other, they can feel the temperature drop by 20 degrees.

"wow. Why did it get cold?" The guy looks up at the bright sun "anyway, I think I remember you. from a bit ago. Its...Caleb, right?" he sounds unsure

“Oh, uh, yeah. I forgot, what’s your name?”

"It's quite alright, msot people don't have a photographic memory like I do. My name is Sam. Who is your parent again? it had something to do with...cold, right?"

“Oh, I was never claimed, but since my mother was the goddess, we’re pretty sure it’s Khione. She’s the goddess of snow.”

"Sorry you were never claimed, that seems like a bummer, never truly knowing who your parent is. I've always been fascinated by children of lesser known gods. all sorts of wonderful powers don't you think. I wish I had powers like you, or really any cool powers at that."

“Well, who’s your divine parent?”

"My mom is Athena. I guess it's cool that she is one of the major gods, but I wish I had cool powers. All I got was a higher than normal IQ and a photographic memory. oh, and a love for books." He flashes the cover of the book, which reads "Vanguard" and has a picture of a compass with the glass shattered on it.

*fun fact: Vanguard is a real book I have read recently. It's by Ann Aguire.*

“I mean, what you got was pretty cool. You’re like all smart and stuff. Most of the stuff I do is accidentally freezing my water.”

"Oh, that sounds hilarious!...I mean, SUPER annoying. That must suck for you. But, if a monster got into camp right now, couldn't you just freeze it? I have to rely on a sword."

“I can’t really just turn things into ice cubes… I’m not that powerful. I can summon mini snow storms and stuff and summon ice, but I can’t summon that much ice at once during combat.”

"Oh, well, you must be still pretty strong. Would you like to spar?" Sam puts the book in a satchel at his waist, then hefts his giant, rune-scribed sword.

“Sure, I’m not that good, though.” He conjures up a small cloud of fog and solidifies it into an icy blade.
