*Just to make sure, do you want them to go invisible as well? And are you looking for them to spread out or stick together?*
*Yeah so I want them to go invisible, and then once they are all inside, just find a corner or something where they can drink the potion and remove the cloak without being seen. Then they can come out and interact with the creatures. Also, just realized that they probably don't speak Common. Guess I'll find out.*
*Okay, so if its all good with you, I'll DM for you but roll for what happens with the men*
*Works for me.*
Yon and the men move out.
As you approach the gape, invisible, you see all the demons and constructs at work. Chains and winches, they're pulling up their brothers and sisters from the depths. Your men slowly disappear as they too go invisible. There are many wooden platforms overlooking the crack, and not only can you see it, you can even feel the devilish red glow pouring out from the deep. Crates are scattered about, full of supplies, but there's not a single morsel of food in sight. The bulk of the army that is being formed, dragged up from the bottom of the gape, is gathered north, leaving this part emptyer. There's still at least 100 around this length of the gape, working and pulling, showing the new arrivals where to go so they can play their part in the upcoming events. But there's enough room for it not to be crowded.
Yondor shambles over to one of the demons, particularly one farther away from the others if he can find that. He starts going through some of the crates nearby.
Roll strength to open the crates, if you don't use a spell.

The library is huge, full of all the books you could imagine. More people are here, lots in fact.
Rowen finds a book and sits down near the center of the library to start reading.
She wants a book on the history of the Spider Guild.
Rowen finds an old-looking purple book, decorated with silver details and the Spider Guild's emblem on its cover. It's surprisingly lightweight, despite how large it is.

You see that the very first page you open to has ludicrously tiny writing on every available surface, detailing every single event in the Spider Guild's history, from its founding to present day, in great length. Your eyes strain to read it, but no other adverse effects arise. The rest of the book is completely blank.

I might be running a one-shot session soon and thought I'd share an idea I had that will mess with the players.
They have to fight a mad soldier who has become infected with spores to the point where he is the myconid sovereign of a small myconid colony. If he is killed, his head will explode like a puffball mushroom, releasing spores that contain his conscience and will spread to any remaining myconid minions and cause one of them to turn into a new myconid sovereign. In this way, he cannot be killed until every last one of his myconid minions is killed.

A Black Door with a golden nameplate has appeared in a seemingly random hallway of the Spider Guild Lair.
All the words on the nameplate seem to be in alien symbols and partially scratched out.
Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.
May each word that I speak be backed by each of my teeth.
