"I'm as ready as I'll ever be." Yvonne prepares to leave, a determined look on her face.
"-Yes, I'm--- ready. Let's bring peace to the Guild--- once and for all." Elsa readies their sword, ready for what lies ahead.
The king nods at the both of them, summoning all his hope and courage. He breathes out, mind and body steady. He pulls down the lever. "Let's get this done then."
The trio step out, back into the building, the kingdoms pride and joy, the surface. Their stealth was good before, and it seems to be staying that way- at least for now. Knowing they need to get back to the guild unnoticed, the king whispers as he moves forward. "The robot, that you heard before- what's the best way for us to make sure we don't encounter one, Yvonne? Our best chance at noticing one before it notices us?"
Yvonne, knowing the Mantis can climb and scanning the ceilings for any latent ambush, responds in a hushed tone. "The Mantis are more suited for scouting than assassin work, so they don't have any special senses beyond darkvision and keen hearing. Invisibility is a good start, but whatever route we take, we need to do so quietly. They're good at tracking- if we get spotted, it'll be hard to slip away."
Elsa looks around the room, thinking. "-Does this kingdom have a sewer? It--- would be unpleasant, but we could--- evade detection easier underground."
"The kingdom does has a sewer, there's a few problems with traveling through it though. All the entrances down to it nearby would be near major roads and buildings, not in the shadows and alleyways that we want to stick to. If we can find a way to get to one without being seen in the open though, it would make traveling a lot easier." The king continues to keep watch, as his hand lands on a back entrance, out of the building and onto the street outside. "The only other problem with the sewers is that, as the guild and kingdom were built mostly separately, their sewers aren't connected. We'd only be able to get to the edge of the kingdom underground, before having to resurface. If used correctly though, we might be able to continue above ground from there, I don't know."

"That might be our safest bet. We'd be out of sight for most of the way." Yvonne slowly follows the King outside, looking behind the group every so often.
"-Agreed." Elsa scans their surroundings, looking for the closest entrance to the sewer.

Elsa, after scanning their surroundings for a few seconds, spies a sewer entrance about 60 feet away, and begins approaching it. They turn back to Yvonne and the King, and call out to them in a hushed tone.
"-I found a way in. Follow--- me, quickly!" They start trying to lift up the manhole cover with some difficulty.

*Sorry yet again for the delayed response my queen*
The king nods, and stealthily moves over to help Elsanova with the cover. "Good work- now to make our way across the city." Once the cover is up, the king gestures for his companions to go down, then swiftly follows himself.

Yvonne also quietly follows close behind as the trio descends down the ladder into the sewers proper.
As one can expect from the sewers, the first thing that's noticed is the smell- Nothing out of the ordinary for a sewer, but unpleasant nonetheless. The tunnels have channels in the middle where the sewer water flows, and raised walkways on either side to avoid trudging through it. At intersections, some metal walkways can be seen stretching over the water, allowing access to the opposite sides of tunnels. Plain grey ceramic tiles cover the walls and ceilings of the circular tunnels.
Elsa is the first down the ladder, and seems oblivious to the smell- lacking a nose probably helps with that. "-Wow, it's so quiet down--- here. I wonder why no one--- comes down here very often."
Yvonne heads down the chute shortly after the King, descending on a thread rather than using the ladder. She immediately looks nauseated by the smell, and quickly clambers up to the ceiling to (somewhat) escape it. "Let's move quickly- we want to avoid being followed. That, and the sooner we make it to the Lair, the sooner we can get out of here."

*Pretty awesome. I juggled on the streets for awhile and hung out with a bunch of friends.*
Also evil DM trick: My players went witch hunting and they rescued an imprisoned little girl from one of the witch's huts. The little girl is actually the witch in disguise and she's leading them into a trap. Unfortunately the game ended because one of the players moved to another city so it shan't be resolved. Alas, that is how most of my games end.
