Zidan is watching his people feast and feast and feast.
Ivis flies over, a rainbow following him.
”what are you doing?”
"I gave up my title as the god of nightmares. I am now the god of monsters. Plus, everyone evidently hates these things, and I've given nightmare powers to Ilheia, who doesn't need these things."
“Oh… well, at least people won’t hate you anymore. I could help make monsters!”
"That would be very nice. I was thinking of altering humans to be more... interesting, if they so choose to be transformed." He has changed dramatically in appearance. He looks like a shadowy, two-headed dragon-like monster of some sort it a ratty grey suit. He carries his staff like a cane.
“How would you alter them?”
"It depends on the human. Claws and sharp teeth are a basic idea, but perhaps too basic. Tusks and horns seem like they would be good. Tails or increased body size would be nice too."
“What about humans that could look like other humans?”

"That is a good idea. I will keep that one in mind."

“Tentacles instead of hair?”
"How about snakes? Then again, there are a lot of humans, so it doesn't have to be one or the other."

"Or a scorpion or a giant bat. Anything goes, really, when you're making monsters."

"I'm sure it's great. How about we go to my workshop and make it a reality while you tell me all about it?"

“Okay!”
Wings spread out from Okropnosc's back as he lifts off the ground, soaring toward the Signal Tower. He's not as fast as Ivis, but pretty close.
Ivis flies to the signal tower as well.
The two of them land in Okropnosc's new workshop, with human and animal parts hung up and strewn everywhere, some meticulously organized, some left to exist on the floor. There are even some parts that don't belong to any known creature, living or dead. The bowl in the center is still there, though.

“Interesting…”
"Now what was your idea?" He's setting up the table for the creation, including rolling out a piece of black paper and grabbing a white-inked pen.

“The top half of a humanoid with scaly skin, acidic spit, venomous claws, and eyes that can see through any darkness. The bottom half is a giant centipede with bat wings and three scorpion tails. And it feeds on fear.”

"Sounds exactly like something I would make. I'm glad you came up with it. A good new creation to test out my new powers. I'm guessing you want no credit for this creature?"
