'Like, not wanting to be rude or anything, but why ya choose to go to the beach? I mean, what's there to like? The sand is coarse, rough, irritating, and gets everywhere, and the sea, well, there's always a bigger fish. Or am I missing something?'

'I suppose ya right. The sound of water is one of the most relaxing. And I guess seagulls can be nice, though I've heard the stories about them. You know the ones I mean? Sorry, didn't catch ya name, I'm Flint'

'Cool name.'

'Thanks, it's certainly my name. But for some reason, everyone thinks it's just a dwarf name'

A gelatinous cube oozes over to where the rest of the group is.  "Damn it, all this sand keeps on getting absorbed, I'll never get this out." It proceeds to just stop and wait, no one can really tell what it's looking at.

'Um, hey?'

The halfling woman at the ice cream stand had kind of frozen, staring at nothing in particular. The arrival of several creatures  and the little jam session shakes her out of it. She looks up again at Joe and asks “ Please may I have a mint ice cream cone? “

'Hopefully so, they're very good!'

“I love mint ice cream!” the drow (Davras) agrees.

'Is it ya favourite flavour then?'

Davras smiles. “Yes, it is. Well, one of them. What’s yours?”

'Chocolate! But mint is epic too!'

“Mint really is epic,” Davras agrees, happily enjoying their ice cream cone.

'Then again, any ice cream is pretty good when ya been walking across some random beach for days. Hate it when my home floods me out'

“That’s true,” Davras agrees. “How did your home get flooded out?”

'Big storm, water went down into the drains, I was asleep down there, got flushed out. Yeah, I live in the drains.'

“That’s terrible! Well, at least you’re safe at the beach now. Although as someone who grew up underground I really don’t have a problem with the idea of living in a sewer.”
