Uncomfortably the cleric leaves the freak show and checks out the illusionist. She sees kayla mesmerized, but does not see the illusions, so kayla just looks incredibly high.
"Are you ok?"

Kayla looks over at her. Kayla is a young gnome woman with long messy brown hair and a lot of jewelry. “Yes, I’m fine. This is a great show!”

I really like D&D, especially Ravenloft and Forgotten Realms. My pronouns are she/they.
I like reading and writing too, but I’m not much of an artist.
Kayla goes to the carnival, buys a ticket and goes to watch Xanax the illusionist.
The satyr ticket keeper thanks them as they enter the park, and in a clearing is the illusionist himself, along with a somewhat big crowd of townsfolk that have come to watch the show
Kayla settles down in her seat to watch the show. As an illusionist herself, she very much enjoys going to see magic shows.
In a grandiose voice, the illusionist welcomes them to the show, bowing as he prepares the first trick. With the flick of his wrist, he summons an illusiory generic looking paladin with a sword, and then summons another illusion of an ogre
Kayla watches, mildly impressed.
Then, with another swirl of the hands, the landscape around them starts to shift into a large cave, gems imbedded into the walls
Kayla’s eyes widen. She’s an expert in gemcutting, so she can probably identify most of the gems.
From what she can tell, there rubies, sapphires, emeralds, even a few diamonds
Ok, What show? Have you...eaten anything weird? *points at wizard* did he have a part to play in this?

And finally, with a snap of his fingers, the battle between the ogre and the paladin begins, with sword and club colliding with steel and flesh
As the battle seems to begin nearing its end, the paladin raises their sword, a divine light channeling ino it. As light shine around the cave, the gems pick up and refract it, creating a brilliant show of green, red, blue, and yellow shimmering through the cave
Xanax smiles as the other members of the crowd applaud and cheer with Kayla, "Thank you, you have been a wonderful audience, and I had a lovely time entertaining you. Enjoy your time in our grounds"
