Miranda is sitting outside. She looks beat up and close to crying almost. She is hiding the best she can from sight. 

Chise is outside, lying in the grass. Markov is running through the grass happily.

The masked tiefling is roaming rooftops looking for injustice to prevent

Salem is shining a broach they stole (that I shall inevitably return to the player)

Pax is for once inside a building with his mask off, eating breakfast

 

 The tiefling spots the trio, gritting her teeth at this behavior. Despite lingering fear from when she last tussle with them, she lets out a small breath, notching and arrow

Pax, being his usual self, simply walks over to miranda when he manages to spot her, "You ok?"

 They still don't seem to notice but Brand walks out of the house, snarling in anger.

Miranda looks up and shakes her head. "Not... really."

 She specifically turns and aims at him, muttering something to herself as she lets loose the arrow:

16 (or 12 since advantage effect) and 12 plus 10 piercing

"Did something happen to you?" He sits beside her

 *Neither hit*

Brand whips around and snarls "YOU!" He is going to cast Expeditious Retreat on himself as a bonus action, then climb the tree to get to her. "I GAVE YOU A CHANCE TO RUN CHILD. BUT YOU DIDNT."

 She squeaks slightly, almost tripping iver herself as she attempts to put more distance between them, "And I gave you a chance to not be evil!" She calls back, pulling an arrow out of her quiver

 Brand roars, a bellow that forms from the back of his throat and makes even angels tremble. *Make a Wis save*

 She is now stunned. 

He snarls, claws growing from his fingertips. "I. GAVE. YOU. A. CHANCE...." He takes a deep breath "but you are to STUPID to walk away!"

 As the stun hits her, she trips over herself and Smacks into the flat rooftop they're on, coughing as she trys to move

 Brand pulls out a sword that is shaped from steel with nine skulls screaming carved into it. "Stay down or so help me... you will be the next soul I take today."

 "Yeah, I'm sure whatever demon you work for would love to see his personal working overtime" she growls, coughing a bit as she manages ro get to her hands and knees

All I ask is for their soul and when it comes time for me to collect my dues, they run and say don't owe me ANYTHING." Brand smashes his fist on a wooden beam. It breaks like a toothpick, falling over.

 The giant seems unfazed. "I'm sure they just made an honest mistake! These are not seasoned occultists, just poor, uneasy commoners!" He sighs. "Every day I ask myself, 'what can I do to make the world ready for the Flesh's reign?' And I keep seeing blessed beings like you, creatures that should be helping, just acting out of self interest. It saddens my heart to see such wasted potential."

 "You're teetering on the edge of making me enraged" He snarled, claws forming from his split fingertips. "You don't understand and I don't think you ever will..."

 The butcher's smile falters. "Rage is a primitive emotion. A useless one. I see you were blessed only in body. Maybe it would be best to simply use your flesh somewhere else."

He draws a large knife as the flesh on the cart animates. The priest rushes toward Brand and makes two slashes with the gigantic butchering blade.

Attack: 22 Damage: 48 slashing, 5 necrotic damage Wound, and 3 radiant damage

Attack: 22 Damage: 42 slashing, 5 necrotic damage Wound, and 12 radiant damage

The flesh entity on the cart vomits forth flesh and gore. DC 16 DEX save for the trio or take 32 necrotic damage and are covered in blood. 7 zombies rise from the gore.
