One of my favorite series right now is Skulduggery Pleasant, by Derek Landy. There are currently 15 books, which get progressively better as you go. 100% recommend, but it’s not for everyone.
I haven’t read it but that one is supposed to be a classic. How is it?
I haven’t really started reading it (just finished the prologue) but so far it’s pretty good. I heard a lot about it, so I decided to get it, but I was really busy the day I got it.
I’m also a huge fan of all the movies and the games, so I really wanted to read it.

I’m reading Witches by Rhoal Dahl.
Percy Jackson is great. I’m super excited for the Series releasing soon.
It does look really cool.
I really like D&D, especially Ravenloft, Exandria and the Upside Down from Stranger Things. My pronouns are she/they (genderfae).
Oh! I read chalice of the gods. It's really good.

How is it? I haven’t read that one, but I have read plenty of his other stuff.
Roald Dahl is a very talented writer, but most of his work has twisted themes and morality that I find sad and disappointing.

Do you mean you never understood what it was about? Have you read the book or seen the movie?
Just not my thing.

The first rule of book club?
We don’t talk about book club.

Has anybody read any Emily Rodda books? I like Deltora quest (all series), Rowan of Rin, the three doors and a bunch of others.
Jack west books are also good
Also the hobbit personally is more fun than lord of the rings and before it so I’d definitely reccomend that.
I’ve read all the deltora quest books.
Yes! Which one was your favourite?
city of the rats and the last one in the entire series (I think, I’m not sure if it’s the last one though)
Nice, personally I liked the rats one as well. Or the massive sea slug. It had pirates and monsters whxih was cool.
The Hobbit is easier to read than LotR, but I think LotR is better.
Honestly, I really need to read LotR.
