Alabastor has been training in the Hunter’s Dream.
Gharman is watching him from his wheelchair while the Moon Presence works on something.
He has mainly be working on target practice, getting use to wielding a gun, which he has modified with his pact to the Moon Presence to shoot out Arcane, Bolt, Fire, and Bloodtinged bullets.
He rolls over to Alabaster, resting next to him, pulling out his own pistol and saying “Hmm, you are a half decent shot for a new hunter. Have you been fighting for a long time?” He says, his flesh covered eyes looking at Alabaster.
“A bit, though more with a sword and spells then with a weapon like this. I was a champion for another Will before her death.”
“Hmm. I do not know much of wills, but I do understand firearms.” He shakily stands up, using his scythe as a cane and holds out his pistol, shooting five straight bullseyes in a row “It’s all in the wrist.”
“I see” he says looking at the bullseyes for a bit before turning back to Gharman. “How long have you been a hunter?”
He holsters the pistol “Long enough to keep the beasts at bay, even with my old bones. Some consider me the greatest hunter that ever was, but I’d say that’s generous for an old man.”

“Well, I hope I can measure up.” Al says as he looks at his gun and concentrates for a moment, before the gun dissipates into moonlight mist. He then looks at his ax. “Hm, maybe a sword would be a better weapon choice for me…”

“Have you yet tried its other form? I mean the second form of the trick weapon? Or possibly you could ask the Moon Presence for a different trick weapon.” He falls back into his wheelchair.

He taps his scythe and it transforms to a one handed weapon “Just think to have it changed, and it will change.”

It expands into the great axe form, becoming so heavy that an above average person would have to two hand it for it to work effectively “Well done.”

“Well I don’t believe you’ve had to deal with the scourge before, all trick weapons are silvered, as well as the bullets if you wished to know.”
“Well I don’t believe you’ve had to deal with the scourge before, all trick weapons are silvered, as well as the bullets if you wished to know.”
“That’s fair. Thanks for the information. I’ll try this out, see if I can think of any improvements or changes that will work better for me.”
He rolls away slowly, when Alabaster looks back to the target he sees it full of smoking holes before it collapses to pieces. He hears Gharman chuckle from a distance.

The Moon Presence is hunched over a blade, glowing like the moon but not made of it. It hands the short sword to them.
