”With Faltros gone, I suppose it was only a matter of time. I will lend half a dozen Sapphires to make sure all of dragonkind stays safe. I suppose I should make my way to the Rings now, shouldn’t I.”
”I hope the next one I find wont give me the honor of being split in two…”
“The three Dragon Wills of this island kingdom, and one of the Demon Wills of the Hellion Ring.”
”Actually, you might be better off heading to the Kingdom of the Nameless King. The Dragon will, Zakator, is heading there to help in the war effort by forging various armaments and fortifications.”
“Hope indeed”
“How many dragon wills are there nowadays? Too darn many in my opinion. And a demon you say? Quite a diverse cast here!”
”best of luck to you in the coming battles. May you and your people stay safe and secure.” They leave six sapphire dragons as promised and lead the rest to find the nameless king and Zakator
"Five from my understanding." Zeon says. *We have the whole cast. Voidras for Gem, Mephilia for Metallic, Zakator for Chromatic, Visk for Fairy Dragons, and Volumdremaak for Shadow and Undead Dragons. XD*
“You have quite the array of allies. I’m convinced you could beat Cognitious in a battle. How many power points do you have anyways?”
"I would not claim to have the same power as one older then myself, but it is comparable." Zen says. *It has 855,000 power points right now by itself*
“I myself recently passed half a million. This,” she gestures around at the archipelago, “is the true extent of a Overwill’s power.”

ArchFey: The crow follows silently, whatever is watching with it intrigued.
Arronlion: As the large draconian stalks down the tunnels, marching with purpose, he takes very specific paths and turns through the maze not even stopping to check. He knows the maze well, and has been through it many times. He walks and walks...do you continue to follow
ArchFey: The crow does, overly confident for a normally skittish animal.
The draconian continues on and on, marching for an impossibly long time, and you begin to wonder how large this maze is, and how you will find your way back without a guide.
Finally, after what might have been an hour, the draconian comes to what seems like the end of this passage. The tunnel opens up into a gargantuan cavern, whose ceiling streches up higher than 300ft! The cavern has lava that flows from the ceiling down to a large pool in the center of the room. In the center of this, is a large egg. It's crimson shell glowing with the light of the lava glinting off its reptilian scale like exterior.
The draconian joins one of many hundreds of other draconians, and in the light of the cavern, you can see they are all red scaled. Their large muscular bodies are bowed down, and they all chant an eerie song, in a tongue that may not be a real language. Leading this procession, and ancient looking draconian floats over the egg, his legs crossed in an indian like manner, and his voice carrying out over the voice of all the other creatures. In front of him, a large scroll is floating there, that of which he seems to be reading with closed eyes.
As you take all this in, the walls of the chamber are of equal interest. Tapestries and draconic paintings in the obsidian stone walls depict many a scene. In each scene, a huge red dragon man can be seen, and the paintings seem to depict his ventures and history.
The crow surveys these tapestries, interested, before turning to the main event of the chanting draconians, as hidden as they can be.
Suddenly the ancient looking draconian lets loose a familiar sounding ROOOOOAR! And all the other draconians roar together with him. As this happens, the egg begins to shake and move and a deep menacing voice from nowhere echoes out throughout the tunnels...
"I SAY AGAIN TO YOU, KEEP ME CONTAINED, YOU SERPENTS, ALL YOU WANT, BUT NEVER SHALL I DIE! EVERY CHANT EVERY WORD OF MAGIC YOU CAST OVER ME SHALL ONLY MAKE YOU MORE LIKE ME! SEE NOW YOU ARR NO LONGER HUMAN! YOU ARE VIOLENT CREATURES LIKE MEE!!! COME, LET US WORK TOGETHER! BRING ME THE FIRE GEMSALEM YOU HAVE HIDDEN IN THE VOLCANO, AND FREE ME! WE CAN RISE AND CONQUER, AND PURGE ZIONDERIA IN A UNHOLY FIRE! JOIN ME!!!!"
As the words reverberate through the volcano, several draconian scream in pain, and drop dead where they were.
The crow caws in curiosity, while the creature behind its eyes chuckles in malevolent glee.
That is where we last ended.
*Long time coming, here we go!*
The chanting of the crimson draconians continues on, rising higher in volume, as if to combat the menacing voice that killed their kin. Their chantings seem successful, pushing down the voice and quieting its rage, but the voices words can still be heard,
"I WILL NOT FAIL TO RISE, FOOLISH HUMANS! YOUR SORCERY AND MAGICS CANNOT CONTAIN ME FOR MUCH LONGER! THE AIR HAS CHANGED, YOUR SOULS ARE FADING, AND SOON I WILL OVERTAKE YOU! SURRENDER NOW, AND BRING ME THE GEMSALEM IN MY VOLCANO!!!"
A few draconians shiver, and some begin to walk toward the hole you came in. But as they get farther away from the egg, its as if some enchantment fades from them, and they rush back to join their company. They are keeping the egg closed for some reason.

The crow tries its best to get closer to better survey the situation without being seen. (I would do more, but currently this is just a crow.)
As you come closer, all the eyes of the draconians are closed, and you find that flying up doesn't seem to even make their eyelids flit. As you fly over, you can see the old draconian that floats above the egg, is running his wrinkled scaly hands over the ancient parchment. Your sharp fowl eyes catch that on the scroll, is a picture of a maze, the very one that is in this volcano. Looking at this, you see that the 3 paths that lead through the volcano, all lead to giant caverns. The 3rd path, the one you traveled, has lead you here, while the others seem to lead to two identical rooms in the left and right of the volcano. In each of these two rooms, an image of half a broken heart, crimson red and aflame lies atop, depicting its main contents. Perhaps the paths 1 and 2 the unfortunate graverobber traveled are not the wrong paths after all.
With all of this, you see that on the side of the egg, a notch has been taken out of the side, carved into it almost, and it is in the shape...of a heart.

The crow, curious, memorizes the map and to the best of its ability tries to follow down the first path.
Traveling back through the volcano, you find the map you tired to memorize is indeed accurate, and you manage to find you way back to the beginning where the graverobbers words were, and the 3 paths were presented. As you go throughout path 1, please make an D20 test adding what you feel is appropriate, to see if you successfully memorize this path.

Not great, but good enough. You barely manage to make your way through, half making educated guesses and being lucky. Your flight carries you to the hoped for cavern, not as big as the 3rd path's, but sizeable enough to hold a huge coiled up serpent, yellow lidless eyes stare unblinking at the entrance, and you worry for a moment you have been seen. But you quickly realize the serpent is asleep, and probably has been for sometime. A moat of lava around the rooms perimeter lights the cavern, and bones and boulders litter the 80ft wide circle floor.

The crow, satisfied with what it has found, dives for a nearby pile of bones, looking through it. Either for scraps or to see if anything is there. It makes sure it stays well away from the serpent. (I might need to bring a deity character into this, as there are limited things to do with crows*

*You may be right.*
Digging through the bones, you see all have been stripped clean of all flesh, and many gnawed so aggressively, the serpent likely hasn't had fresh meat in a while, and desperately began eating the bones. Searching all, you also see piles of ash that likely used to be belongings. Other than this, nothing. But as you search, you hear a faint whisper, a quiet higher pitched meek voice, and it says breathily "A new vistor? Perhaps you can steal me away from the guardian". You turn to see the a red gleam, coming from the center of the serpents forehead. But more pressing, you suddenly see the serpents eyes, flit from their stangnant stare, to you. "Save my broken heart, I wish to free of this monster." the serpent says, as if it is the red gleam!
