As he enters the office area of the little rat, where it sits at its giant desk, it looks up, sees Zeon, sees the deathbloom, makes a little screeching sound, nearly faints, and immediately scurries up to Zeon, up his body and to his arm to inspect the Deathbloom.
"It is your to take my friend, hopefully this will help with your plans."
My Herionidus… where was it?! it carefully excavates the flower with a bit of magic and brings it to a nearby room in the office, an indoor garden full of vines, grasses, and plants unique to the valley. It plants it in the very center, and it’s golden threads of magic begin to travel across the soil.
"It was in the possession of a Will of Undeath, Shadows, Peace, and Life. She collects the losts souls and comforts them before they are sent to their prefered path. She had been safeguarding it, using its powers on occasion to rejuvenate the Valley of you late master. It took a lot to convince her to part with it due to the tumultuous state of our world, but I was able to persuade her of the importance."
I see… Hopefully she won’t be enraged at this, but I do not plan on returning it. Does she expect us to? The deathbloom thrums with magical power, still one of the most powerful true artifacts in existence, besides the crown, but the crown is… well, the crown.
A telepathic message is sent from Angelo, the Heir’s Prophet, to Savut and Orchid, informing them the deathbloom has been retrieved and all they need left is the crown.
"No, she does not. I did not give her too much information, not fully sure how much you wished to disclose of your plans. However, she does know of your proper claim to the artifact as a servant to the late Heriondius. She is content with that."
Good… now all we need is the Crown of Slaughter. I won’t get you involved in that if you don’t want to, although you would be a wonderful help.
Eris sighs, before moving away from the balcony and scuttling up to the uppermost platform on the Mirth Manor- up to where the Skynail is. The two at the plasma cannons- the twins Ezekiel and Erica Mirth- continue to fire more beams of energy at the attackers, though not spending any points to do so. Eris climbs up to the Skynail's controls, beginning to aim the large ballista-like weapon at them- and, more specifically, aiming for towards the back of their attacking force.

The Mourn Marauders attempt to pelt those they can see with arrows, each one flaming and dripping with the same black Ichor. The cloaked figure sees that she is aiming for the very back, and stands up on top of his mount, drawing a glaive. His hood falls down, revealing the face of Perseus Mourn. Just as he looked like in life, only in a shadowy, ethereal state. Sharp features, olive skin (although a more blueish due to being ghostly) and shoulder length brown (again, more blueish) hair. Wrapped in a cloak, but wearing fine noble clothes beneath it, he looks to the Skynail. He raises his glaive, and it thrums with dark energy. He swings it in a slashing motion and sends forth a ripple of that same dark energy, decimating the plants and animals around them and sprouting a necrotic garden of fungi. The ripple travels towards the skynail, coalescing in a burst of power attempting to shut it down and break it, as if it had been slashed by the glaive itself. Three hundred power points are behind this.

Eris is surprised upon seeing that none other than Perseus is the one leading the attack- almost enough to distract her from the ripple of dark energy that threatens to destroy the Skynail. However, she extends a hand and conjures a wave of 300 power points worth of multicolored energy similar to that the plasma cannons fire, which catches the necrotic projectile and absorbs most of its explosive burst of power. The explosion's only effect is a harmless, whipping wind for a second, Eris' own cloth hood falling back. She still somewhat resembles how she looked in life, though not to the same degree as Perseus. Her short, once strawberry-blonde hair is an almost bleached-looking white, and a small transparent lens-like device sits over one of her amber eyes, but the most notable feature is... well, the lower third of her face seems to have been entirely replaced by some mechanical augmentation, the details of which somewhat hard to see at this distance.
She is still for a moment, looking back at Perseus with equal parts recognition and shock, before snapping out of it and moving back to getting the Skynail into position.

Perseus’ eyes widen at the oncoming blast and Nicholas’ Charnel hound leaps ahead, and using power drawn from Perseus, summons a wall of darkness, as he swirls with ancient runes. Perseus looks physically winded from using that much power, an equal 3,700. He yells to his family of about 12 others that are on the attack with him, and call for them to flee to regroup. Within moments, they are beginning to burrow underground, as their very bodies decompose into the earth to travel via magic. Perseus looks at Eris one final time, surveying whatever destruction their flaming barrage has caused to the Mirth Manor.
*Yes, let's! The only detail I know so far for the Mirth family is that Eris is the twins' half-sister. The rest is obscured in shadow for now...*
As the Mourn family burrows into the soil, they can see that their effort hasn't been for nothing- the Mirth Manor has visible marks and holes in places from their onslaught, which will likely take days at minimum to repair. Eris watches them retreat, looking back at Perseus again for a few seconds, before relaxing a bit now that the attack is over. She steps down from the Skynail's upper platform, and scuttles back into the manor proper. They'll need to make repairs once they reach the Valley proper.

the last of the Mourn family retreats, leaving the Mirth Manor safe for now. They travel through the soil for more than a hundred miles, to Castle Mourn. Castle Mourn is in fact a creepy old vampire castle in a state of near ruin, and it slowly travels upon the ground on tendrils of fungus.

*we could start it right now in the Pm if you have time! I think that Nicholas might be Perseus’ cousin or nephew.*
the last of the Mourn family retreats, leaving the Mirth Manor safe for now. They travel through the soil for more than a hundred miles, to Castle Mourn. Castle Mourn is in fact a creepy old vampire castle in a state of near ruin, and it slowly travels upon the ground on tendrils of fungus.
*Yeah, I've got time! Let's!*
Eris returns to that balcony from before, looking out at the desolation from the two families' conflict- necrotic fungus growths amidst charred earth. "Oh, Perseus..." She mutters under her synthetic breath. "...What have we become?"
