*The situation that led to the rise of Okropnosc is occurring again... I have some wonderful, awful ideas... have you ever heard of Typhon?*
*yeah, I have. It would be fun if mortals made some sort of god to protect themselves again.*
*Oh, you know me so well...*
*I may or may not have been plotting something similar…*
*-Gasp- Twinsies! Wait, how about we make them siblings? By the way, I'm going to add Blasphemy and Monstrosity as domains, just because.*
*i would love to do that, but i was planning to do something with Yondor and Drum, and since you can only have two greater wills, I probably wouldn’t be able to. But it would be fun to and I could ask them if they would be okay with me doing this, and if we could wait for a bit to do the stuff I’ve been planning with them*
*I'm allowing three Greater Wills per player now. It's going to max out at 5 once we get a level 5 Will. And you can do whatever you want, I just thought it would be awesome to tie our characters together like that. If you don't have the time to do something like that, then it's perfectly okay. Can't wait to see what you and the boys are doing!*
*okay, well now that that’s happening, I would absolutely love to make a character with you! I have waaaayy to much time, actually.*

*Epic!!!! I was thinking my new god would be similar to the God of Fear and Hunger, the surprising titular character of Fear and Hunger. Basically, it's a powerful being that represents the suffering humanity has to endure, and their ineffable will to keep going. I might even give them a similar title. But basically, this is humanity's rough edges and repulsion manifested and shoved into the gods' faces as an example of something they cannot get rid of, no matter how hard they try. What do you think of that?*

*sounds cool! How would mortals create them?*
*You knew this was coming. The creation of a Greater Will requires the creation of a masterpiece, and the most developed art in this world is cooking, given the actions of a certain god. Thus, the cultists made a meal: The Banquet of Travesties. Each course represents an aspect of human suffering, things taught to the chefs by a former follower of Locust. The resulting meal was... unspeakable. Delicious, sure, but unholy and foul beyond any measurements any god could make. But humans could understand it perfectly. Gods have their heaven... humans have their hell. This is an expression of that.*

Mortals have been filled with terror of the gods. They would destroy so many, curse them to a fate worse than death, all because they were annoyed? What else could they do? What would they do? The humans needed some sort of protection, clearly. A large cult forms in secret, and begin to get to work creating some sort of defense against the wrath of the gods. Mortals can never fight the gods, but maybe they can hide from them...
Dave has gone into hiding, and inadvertently discovers the secret cult. After his utter failure, he has been humbled, and curses the name of the Way of Normalcy. His wrath is stoked, and he will return eventually. He also ditched the blue shirt and khakis for leathers and a long flowing cape. He wishes to discover magic possible of disguising mortals from the gods' omniscient gaze, and rise through the ranks of the cult. He suggests a name, which seems to catch on.
The Godless Ones...
